I visited a pawn shop where the owner, terrified by Kraven's hunters, provided a cryptic clue about lit flames in Little Odessa. After clearing the first roof of a robotic vulture and hunters, I discovered a second, more heavily fortified roof guarded by snipers and robotic dogs.
MJ got a lead that we could get information about Kraven from a pawn shop owner. I swung there quickly, the city blur passing by as I landed in front of the shop, sensing the tension hanging over the neighborhood.
I found the owner cleaning up the mess that the hunters had been doing. Right when Peter showed him the knife part, he became scared and said he could not help. But he gave Peter a little hint, saying the flames had been lit.
Following the hint, I had to search Little Odisha and look for two flames that were lit on two separate roofs. I scanned the horizon from a high vantage point, spotting the flickering orange glow against the deepening evening sky.
I went to the closest flame first, where I destroyed a robot vulture that was circling the perimeter. Then I jumped on a hunter, which unfortunately alerted the rest of them on the roof, turning a quiet infiltration into a loud brawl.
As the whole crew on the roof detected my presence, they started coming towards me with their high-tech weapons. I started fighting them as well, using my webs to disarm them and redirecting their momentum as they charged at me blindly.
When I was getting one of them off the roof, another one shot something into the sky that blocked part of the air for me with the high-tech net.
I went back and finished them off with a flurry of strikes. Then I noticed a vodka bottle from Volgograd left behind. Peter said it was likely for some kind of party, suggesting the hunters were making themselves a bit too comfortable.
Then I swung to the other roof that was heavily guarded with hunters, along with snipers and bot dogs. The security was much tighter here, with spotlights sweeping the ledges and the mechanical growls of the dogs echoing across the rooftop.
I decided to do it silently this time to avoid a direct confrontation. I started taking down the snipers first, so they did not get to mess up my stealth later by spotting me from their elevated nests.
That's all for now. I'll write about more of this story again soon. Be safe till we meet again.
Au revoir/Goodbye.
