Responding to a monster hunter report, I saved terrified civilians from symbiotes alongside Miles. After clearing the area, Miles left while the civilians recovered. Skipping the next crime report, I spent time swinging across the city, testing web wings, and collecting tech parts.
I received a report about monster activity nearby and decided to head over immediately. Opening my wingsuit, I glided across the sky toward the marked location.
Down in the streets, a group of dark symbiotes was attacking and dragging off terrified civilians. I dropped into the middle of the chaos and started attacking the creatures right away.
Peter had already asked Miles to head over toward Dr. Connors, but Miles arrived at my spot first to back me up. Joining the fight, I used my white tentacles to slam the symbiotes around while Miles cleared out the surrounding hostiles.
Together, we wiped out the remaining monsters and saved the civilians.
Looking around after the fight, I noticed a couple of police officers standing nearby, casually chatting like nothing had happened instead of helping out.
Once the fighting stopped, Miles waited around for a moment to say goodbye, but I was a bit slow walking over to him, so he zipped away, probably toward Dr. Connors.
The civilians who had been trapped by the symbiotes shifted back to their normal selves, and the crowds on the sidewalk went back to walking around as if the attack had never occurred.
Another crime report popped up close by on my map, but I decided to skip it for now so I could spend some time swinging around the city instead. I triggered a high jump off a roof edge and started swinging around.
Watching the animations closely, I noticed the Spider-Men in this game do not use both hands at the same time while swinging, though I have seen that move in a few video clips before. I figured it might be an upgrade that unlocks later in the story.
I spent the next few minutes running along building walls, pulling off tricks in midair, and using my web wings to catch wind from rooftop air vents for a extra speed boost.
Spotting a glowing stash of tech parts on a nearby roof, I landed on the roof to collect the materials so I could upgrade my suits later on.
That's all for now. I'll write about more of this story again soon. Be safe till we meet again.
Au revoir/Goodbye.
