Miles freed Peter from the dark realm, bringing him back to reality. With Lee's power depleted, a horde of symbiotes attacked. Peter unexpectedly unlocked the Anti-Venom suit, which granted him explosive new abilities to hold off the monsters while Miles took powerless Lee to safety.
Peter was found kneeling beside his aunt's deathbed, repeatedly apologizing to May and insisting that everything was entirely his fault. The moment Miles reached out and touched Peter, a surge of energy broke through the gloom, pulling everyone out of the dark realm and back into the real world.
It seemed they had actually succeeded in bringing Peter back. However, the relief was short-lived as a massive wave of symbiotes suddenly swarmed the area to attack us. Martin Lee stood nearby completely drained as he used every ounce of his remaining power to save Spider-Man.
Peter suddenly jumped and as he leapt into action, a new symbiote materialized and wrapped around his body. This form looked entirely different from the dark suit he wore before, glowing with a brilliant white tone.
Realizing it was time to fight the symbiotes with this altered symbiote power, Peter turned to Miles and urged him to get Lee out of danger immediately. Since Lee no longer possessed his abilities to defend himself, Peter insisted that he could handle the incoming horde on his own.
With the new suit active, my Anti-Venom attacks began applying a distinct Anti-Venom status effect to the surrounding enemies, causing them to take significant extra damage with every strike.
Peter also commented that this was far more than just a standard symbiote suit. During the chaotic battle, I unlocked the Anti-Venom Bomb ability and decided to test it out right away.
The results were incredible. I had really missed using symbiote powers, and this new move allowed me to hit and destroy a large group of enemies all at once.
As the battle raged on, Peter called out to Miles over the comms to ask where this strange new power had come from. Miles explained that Lee had channeled his own energy directly into Peter to free him from his inner darkness.
Miles was guessing that the transformation must have occurred during that exact moment. Hearing this explanation left Peter completely stunned, surprised that Miles had managed to set aside his past and work together with Lee to save him.
