After Wednesday tempo run I needed to take a day off in order to both allow my body to repair aswell as to stay motivated. My Thursday focussed on trauma therapy so it was emotionally pretty taxing. Normally I would just run a bit at a low heartbeat in order to just clear the mind, but yesterday I just wanted to listen to some alpha waves on bed - so that was exactly what I did.
Today , a new day! I opted to go for a progressive run, to verify my heartrate zones. My training setup was:
With this progression I aimed to touch my zones 2 , 3 and lower 4.

It went pretty well, I decided to give a little boost on the last KM and finish strong, before the little cooling down! My hamstring was definitly noticeable especially during the first half, but it eased in the second half. Hopefully tomorrows recovery run will smooth things out again.
