Hello everyone

how are you all? I hope you are all doing well.Today I thought I would share my morning routine with you and tell you how my day usually begins. Mornings in my home are always busy because I have to get all three of my children ready for school, but this has become a normal part of my daily life.
My day actually starts in the kitchen.

As soon as I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is wake up the children so they can get ready for school. I ask them to get out of bed, wear their uniforms and start getting ready while I go to the kitchen.

The first thing I prepare is milk for my youngest son. He likes to drink milk as soon as he wakes up, so I warm some milk for him and add a little honey. Especially during the colder months, I like giving him warm milk with honey.

After that, I start preparing breakfast for the children who are going to school. All three of my children go to school, although my youngest one goes a little later because he is still in playgroup. For the older children, I usually keep breakfast light on school mornings. I make milk tea and give them something simple like rusks or biscuits. They don't like eating a very heavy breakfast before school because they say that when they eat too much, they feel uncomfortable at school.

On holidays, they enjoy a proper and heavier breakfast, but on school days they prefer something light. After breakfast, I start preparing their lunch boxes. One thing that makes my mornings much easier is preparing some food in advance. I often make things like Shami Kebabs, Chicken Tikka and parathas and keep them in the freezer. I have shared some of these recipes with you before as well. This saves me a lot of time in the morning because I don't have to prepare everything from the beginning.

Today I decided to make something simple but delicious for their lunch box — Chicken and Cheese Paratha Rolls.
I took the frozen parathas and cooked them lightly on a tawa until they were hot and properly cooked. Then I heated the chicken that I had already prepared.

After that, I spread some ketchup and mayonnaise over the paratha. You can use any sauce you like according to your taste. Then I added the chicken in the centre and topped it with plenty of cheese. Finally, I rolled everything together and the chicken and cheese paratha roll was ready.
I made four parathas in total . two for each child. My children also like sharing their lunch with their friends at school, so I usually prepare a little extra for them.
Once their lunch boxes were ready, the older children had already finished breakfast and were ready for school. I sent them off, and then I finally had some time to focus on my youngest son.

My little one goes to school a little later because he is still very young. After his milk and breakfast, I started getting him ready.Getting small children ready for school is not always easy. Sometimes he says, “I don't want to go to school!” and sometimes he says that he is still sleepy.Even though we try to sleep early at night, somehow children always seem to need more sleep!

After getting him dressed in his uniform and ready for school, I finally get a little time for myself. This is what I call my me time.Once all the children have left for school, I can finally slow down a little. I do my skincare, prepare a nice breakfast for myself and then sit down and enjoy it peacefully.
I especially enjoy having my tea during this time.
The weather has also started changing these days. There are cool, fresh winds in the morning, and having a warm cup of tea in this kind of weather makes the morning even more enjoyable.

After breakfast, I usually do some cleaning around the house and then make time for exercise.I do exercise regularly. I don't always get enough time to exercise early in the morning because my mornings are mostly spent getting the children ready for school. So I usually exercise after I have finished breakfast and taken care of some of the household work.
Exercise makes me feel fresh and energetic for the rest of the day.

So this is how my morning usually begins — a little busy, a little tiring, but also full of small moments that I really enjoy.
Being a mother means that the morning can be quite hectic, but once everything is done and the children are safely off to school, I really enjoy those quiet moments for myself.
This is my simple morning routine.
