Hello friends

how are you all? I hope you are doing well. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well.

Today, I want to share something special with you. Yesterday, an art competition was held in our area. It was organized by a psychologist, who invited young students from different schools to participate and express their thoughts through art.

The theme of this competition was “Our Mind Matters, Let's Talk About It.” The main idea was to encourage young people to express their feelings and thoughts through their artwork.
Many students participated in this competition, and my son was one of them. He is almost 16 years old and has a great interest in art. The competition offered cash prizes for the winners. The first prize was 20,000 rupees, the second prize was 10,000 rupees, and the third prize was 5,000 rupees.

My son is very good at art, but some of the participants were older than him and had more experience. Unfortunately, he did not win a prize this time. However, I am still very proud of him because he had the courage to participate and show his talent.

For me, taking part in a competition is also an achievement. Winning a prize is wonderful, but having the confidence to present your work in front of others is equally important. I always appreciate my son's efforts, and I hope he will continue to improve his skills and participate in more competitions in the future.

Today, I would like to share some of the artwork created by the participants. I found it interesting to see how different students understood the theme and expressed their ideas through their drawings.

So, let's have a look at the first artwork and see what message the artist wanted to convey through it.

The first artwork is a portrait of a girl. I really liked how beautifully and neatly the artist drew her face. Her eyes especially caught my attention because they were drawn with great care and detail. You can see the effort and creativity behind this work.

The next artwork shows a boy who is crying. He has no hair on his head, and it looks as if he wants to say something but cannot express it. For me, this artwork represents the feelings of people who are going through emotional pain but find it difficult to share what is happening inside their minds.

Another artwork shows a girl with a beautiful heart, but her mind is full of tension and worries. Sometimes, a person may look perfectly fine on the outside, but inside, they may be dealing with many thoughts and problems. This drawing reminds us that we should not judge people only by their appearance.

There was also an artwork showing a girl sitting while people around her were saying different things to her. It looked as if everyone was putting pressure on her from every side. Sometimes, people go through situations like this in their daily lives. When everyone keeps criticizing them or telling them what to do, they may begin to feel completely alone, even when they are surrounded by others.

Another girl was shown with thousands of questions and different thoughts in her mind. The artwork included eyes, images of violence, and many other things. It seemed to represent the confusion, fear, and pressure that can fill a person's mind. Sometimes, our minds become so crowded with thoughts that it becomes difficult to find peace.

One more artwork caught my attention. It showed a beautiful girl with ropes attached to her hands, as if someone were controlling her like a puppet. This drawing made me think about how people sometimes try to control others and make decisions for them. It is a powerful reminder that everyone deserves the freedom to express themselves and make their own choices.

There were many other wonderful artworks in the competition, and each one carried a different message. I really appreciated the creativity and effort of all the participants. It was amazing to see how young people used their artistic skills to express feelings and experiences that are sometimes difficult to explain in words.

My Final Thoughts

I liked all the artworks I shared with you today. Each one was special in its own way, and each artist had a different way of expressing the theme, “Our Mind Matters, Let's Talk About It.”
This competition also reminded me that mental health is important. We should listen to others, try to understand their feelings, and avoid judging them without knowing what they are going through.

I am proud of my son for participating in this competition, and I appreciate every student who took part in it. Winning a prize is not everything. Sometimes, the experience, courage, and lessons we gain are more valuable than a prize.

Now, I would love to hear your thoughts. Which artwork did you like the most, and what message did you understand from it? Please share your opinions in the comments.
Thank you so much for your time and support. ❤️
