Hello everyone

how are you all? I hope you are doing well and having a lovely day.Today I want to share a cute and simple DIY card that I made for Teacher’s Day. It turned out really beautiful, so I thought I should share the complete process with you all.
Monday was Teacher’s Day, and the children at school were asked to make something handmade for their teachers. We thought it would be a nice idea to make a handmade card instead of buying one from the market. My son and I decided to make this card together.

I also took pictures of the different steps while making it so that I could share the complete idea with you.

Making the Ring Design

First, we needed to make the ring design that you can see inside the card.I took a pencil and drew a few circles on a piece of paper. Then, with the help of scissors, I carefully cut around the circles to make the ring shape.

For the card, I used a slightly thick sheet, similar to the pages we use in a sketchbook. I folded the sheet from the middle so it looked like a proper greeting card.

After that, I attached the ring inside the card. I glued one end of the ring towards the upper side and the other end towards the lower side. This made the ring stand out when the card was opened.

It looked really cute and gave the card a beautiful 3D effect.
Decorating the Front For the outside of the card, I wanted to keep the design simple but attractive.I had some glitter paper that sticks like a sticker, so I used it to make a big heart shape. I carefully cut the heart and placed it on the front of the card.

The golden glitter heart looked very pretty on the white card. I also added some small colorful hearts around it and wrote “Happy Teacher Day” at the bottom.
I really liked how simple and bright the front of the card looked.

Making the Flowers

After finishing the main design, it was time to decorate the inside of the card.I wanted to add some colorful flowers around the ring, so first I drew small flowers on paper. I used different colors, especially pink and purple.

After coloring them, I carefully cut out each flower. I also made a few small green leaves to make the design look more natural. Then I used glue to attach all the flowers and leaves around the ring that we had made earlier.Little by little, the plain white card started looking much more colorful and beautiful.

Writing the Message

Once all the decoration was finished, it was time to write a special message for my son’s teacher.
I wrote some sweet and meaningful words to thank the teacher for guiding and teaching him. I wanted the message to be simple but heartfelt because teachers play such an important role in a child’s life.

Finally, the card was ready

I really loved the final look of this handmade card. It was a simple project, but making something with our own hands always feels more special.

The best part was seeing how happy my son was with the finished card and knowing that he would give something handmade to his teacher.
I hope you liked this little DIY idea too. ❤️
