Hello dear friends,
Today on the first Sunday of Advent I baked delicious walnut biscuits, with these biscuits I want to wake up your anticipation for Christmas.
Every year I ask myself the question: which and how many cookies do I bake this year? Mostly, I remain faithful to the proven and family-praised varieties. But new ideas are in demand when it comes to Christmas bakery - after all, you want to surprise your loved ones with not yet known delicacies.
Enjoy the baking, good luck in the bakery and a wonderfully relaxed preparation and pre-Christmas time 馃巹
about 200 g of any jam
200 g dark, melted couverture
Chocolate droplets for decorating
Sift the flour and powdered sugar for the dough and mix with the walnuts.
Add the margarine cut into small pieces and knead quickly, wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Then roll out about 2 mm thick on a floured work surface and cut out cookies with a round shape, place these on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake in preheated (150 掳 C convection) oven for about 8 minutes.
Allow the biscuits to cool completely Call and then mix together two pieces with jam and leave for a few hours.
Only then dip the half biscuit into the melted chocolate and decorate with chocolate drops.
