Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome to my report😹. It's the day when Bob claws 🐾 out and invades the blockchain, it's once a week so please bear with him 😻. Anyways glad you stopped by and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been. Thank you for being here and lets dive in💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a stop at the mall for groceries. After a bit of walking and window shopping, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube and was surprised EPL football matches are back on.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.Its been rainy especially early morning.
On the continent, Niger still trending as the coup army leaders remained defiant🙀. However, today the deposed president was allowed a doctor's visit in detention.
ECOWAS leaders and their defense chiefs have postponed a crisis meeting in the Ghanian capital Accra.
Let's go to Europe, where 6 migrants have died as their boat capsized while they were crossing from France to England😭. Thankfully 49 others have been rescued. Seems like people smugglers will never stop as long as they can make money😡.
Over in Poland, the defense minister was visiting the border with Belarus that he said had become dangerous as Belarus was letting in illegal migrants🙀. Ten thousand polish troops have been deployed to maintain high security.
Across the pond in the US, the Iowa state fair was on in Des Moines, presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Ron Desantis were in attendance. The fair happens every year with around a million people attending.
In Asia, Pakistan trending as a new caretaker PM was chosen ahead of upcoming elections. Then China angry that Taiwanese vice president will be stopping over in the US😹.
Finally in crazy weather, firefighters in Hawaii say the deadly fires 🔥 are now under control but the death toll has reached 80😭, with many still missing. Then major flooding reported in Northern China accompanied by landslides. That's the highest ever reported rainfall in the area in 140 years🙀.
