Good Afternoon,

I was aching for something sweet yesterday, but everything I thought I had was not appealing to my tastebuds. My husband handed me the mini rolls and I completely forgot I had them. They were bought for me for bonfire night. I'm glad I had something that wet my appetite.

Cadbury Mini Bonfire Logs Honeycomb

"Honeycomb flavour sponge with a honeycomb flavour filling, covered with milk chocolate."

I have never seen this flavour of mini roll before. I couldn't wait to try it. I opened up the first log and I could smell the honeycomb coming right out of it. It was sweet but 'burnt' if that makes sense. Hard to describe really. I bit off the end and I could see the cream swirled inside. It was a really nice shade of light caramel. I couldn't really taste the honeycomb in both the sponge and the filling. Maybe that's just me, but I couldn't taste an awful lot of honeycomb after the second log. Don't get me wrong, there was honeycomb flavour there, but I could only taste it in the filling and not in the sponge.

A nice idea from Cadbury to create bonfire logs, but I think this could have done with more flavour. I think if they made the sponge vanilla flavoured, that would work with the honeycomb. Also if they dusted the logs with some honeycomb crumb on top, I believe that would work well too.
