Been a while since I travelled abroad! It is to the neighbour country, but still counts. Just leaving the routine behind is enough to relax.

I'm spending a lot more time enjoying the beaches and the view than looking at the phone, but couldn't resist sharing some photos of beautiful Sevilla.

Beautiful... and hot! It wasn't my first time in the city, and I knew temperatures are normally high in this time of the year... but 45 celsius feels like an oven. At 23h there were nights at 35 celsius on the street thermometers.

Probably why structures like this were made, to provide some shade for the plazas. These are Sevilla's setas (seta means mushroom in spanish).

Heat didn't stop the sightseeing, thow. Alcazar, one of the best known monuments, was splendid.

Arabic architecture is amazing, but so is the more "classic" spanish one, here in Plaza España.

I do appreciate the buildings, but if you follow the blog, you know that cities aren't exactly my focus. 😁

Only 1 hour away from Sevilla... is Doñana, a national park, home of the endangered Iberian Lynx (the one that originated my hive name!), and I had to visit!

Somewhat disappointed to find out that some of the lagoons have dried out, lagoons that were filled with life last time I visited. Still, spotted a ton of wildlife, and hope to be able to publish some of them in my future #featheredfriends posts.

Just hoping to have decent photos on my zoom camera. Fingers crossed! 😉
