RECUERDOS MEMORABLES | Objetos que contienen vida [ESP-ENG]
Hoy atiendo la invitación que me hizo mi amiga 
Esta invitación a compartir algunos de mis objetos valiosos por su caducidad funcional y carga emocional, me puso a elegir entre varios y finalmente seleccioné cinco que formaron parte importante de mi infancia y adolescencia. Estos se los presento con toda la emoción que me producen siempre que los veos, pues son un pedacito de lo que me produjo felicidad hace muchos pero muchos, años atrás.
A continuación mi exposición de tesoros que son recuerdos memorables:
Discos de vinilo 💿
Estos sí que son un gran tesoro muy preciado para mí. Los discos de vinilo de algunas de las músicas favoritas que tuve en mi época de infancia y de adolescencia los conservo intactos. Eran los modelos grandes, aquellos llamados LP o Long Play que se usaban con mayor frecuencia hasta que llegaron los modernos CD o Discos Compactos. Pero nada mejor como lo antiguo. Tengo varios LPs de los artistas que más disfrutaba en el equipo de sonido Pick Up de la casa, con su peculiar brazo y aguja que se colocaba sobre el disco. Recuerdo que había que cuidar que el disco no estuviera sucio, ni rayada su superficie para que la reproducción fuera la ideal. Siempre había que estar pendiente de limpiarlos con un algodón y alcohol. Inolvidable compromiso de un trabajo que era continuo, si quería un buen sonido de la música de mis Long Plays predilectos en las décadas de los 80.
Este tipo de disco de vinilo hoy no se usa a menos que tengas un antiguo tocadiscos, sin embargo todavía se venden como antigüedades en algunas tiendas y ventas callejeras de mi ciudad. Yo me motivé a conservar los míos pensando en el valor antiguo para cuando tuviera mis hijos y nietos. Son 22 discos los que atesoro, los cuales marcaba con mi nombre y la fecha en que obtuve cada uno. Entre ellos podrán apreciar mayormente música pop, mi género preferido, además de electrónica y un poco de música romántica.
Lo mío eran los ritmos modernos y canciones especialmente en inglés. Era una chiquilla tranquila pero algo roquera.
Cámara fotográfica 📸
Las cámaras analógicas, tienen un valor especial para las generaciones del siglo pasado y un poco más lejos. Esto es porque la cámara nace por el afán del hombre de capturar imágenes lo que produjo varios intentos, diferentes al dibujo, pintura y escultura que eran las técnicas artísticas usadas desde épocas originarias. Para lograr obtener las imágenes bajo un sistema nuevo, se hicieron muchos experimentos en épocas antiguas hasta la moderna donde la fotografía química llega con su auge hasta la aparición de la digital. Las cámaras de rollo, como la que les muestro, ya eran de una época analógica más moderna.
Aunque eran un royo por el rollo que necesariamente debían usar para poder captar y revelar las fotografías. Sin embargo, extraño las cámaras manuales pues han sido sustituidas por completo, incluso también las cámaras digitales, por los teléfonos con cámara incorporada.
Casetes de VHS 📼
Estos casetes para video que graban sobre una cinta, fueron desplazados poco a poco con la llegado del DVD y luego los CDs o discos compactos se convirtieron en lo más populares. Pero recuerdo que seguía en uso este tipo de formato, especialmente en plantas televisivas. De esto les puedo dar fe por mi experiencia en una televisora. También recuerdo los trabajos audiovisuales que entregué en este formato VHS en mi época de estudiante de comunicación social y que aún conservo. También recuerdo la necesidad de pasar el formato VHS a DVD. Esto de la modernización tecnológica, que no se detiene, realmente mantiene al trote a la humanidad, pero sobre todo implica aumentar los gastos. De igual manera, lo valioso que queda son esos objetos que contienen vida de una época que nos trae gratos recuerdos.
Diario con perfume de rosas 🌹
Los diarios juveniles, quizás ya no son tan comunes de usar hoy en día. Todo se comparte por las redes sociales y mientras más públicos se hacen los momentos y pensamientos es mejor para la mayoría de la nueva generación. Como se dan cuenta no generalizo, porque es posible que haya chicas o chicos que lleven algún registro diario y privado de algunas experiencias vividas, ya sea digitalmente o bajo el tradicional manuscrito en algún cuaderno o agenda como la que les muestro.
Esta agenda estaba entre los regalos de mis 15 años y recuerdo como me impacto la cubierta plateada con una rosa y letras en relieve que decía "Perfume", me parecía muy elegante. Pero lo más delicado era la fragancia a rosas que desprendía. Al principio la empecé a usar como "Mi diario personal", pero luego de unos meses me di cuenta que no era muy conveniente tener un libro como paño de lágrimas que cualquiera puede leer. "Si no quieres que algo se sepa no lo digas ni escribas".
Así que, un día le retire todas las hojas que había escrito y las quemé. De allí en adelante le di un mejor uso: Agenda para varias anotaciones. La use por varios años porque tenía muchas hojas. Luego la guarde en mi baúl de los recuerdos, una caja que tengo especial, donde hay algunos objetos valiosos sentimentalmente y que me traen recuerdos memorables.
Realmente era muy bella aunque la vean así, maltratada como señal del uso diario que le dí por muchos años.
Ahora lo más asombroso:
Después de 34 años... ¡Aún conserva su perfume!
Cuando la saqué para tomar las fotos que uso en esta publicación, lo primero que hice como lo solía hacer de joven, es acercarme para olerla y para sorpresa mía aún mantiene su fragancia a rosas. Se lo mostré a mi hijo menor y mi hermano que estaba de visita en mi casa y quedaron asombrados. Es increíble.
Set escolar 📔
Este tipo de kit aún se usan y existe gran variedad de diseños en el mercado, pero el que les muestro, recuerdo estuvo muy de moda en mi época de adolescencia. Este kit fue uno de los regalos recibidos en mí fiesta de 15 años y se componía de varios elementos, una papelera, un porta accesorios con tapa, un tarjetero y una carpeta tipo portafolio. Estos dos últimos son los que conservo y podrán ver en esta publicación.
El tarjetero contiene todos las tarjeticas y etiquetas que guardé en mi época de estudiante de secundaria hasta inicio de mi juventud. Luego lo guardé con todo lo que tenía en su interior. Lo tengo en mi caja especial, junto a la agenda perfumada y otros objetos que son recuerdos memorables.
La carpeta tipo portafolio de varios compartimiento y resistente. Recuerdo que guardaba en su interior mis dibujos más preciados. Lo más increíble es que está como nueva, tal cual pueden ver.
Amigos les estoy hablando de una carpeta que tiene 34 años conmigo. Definitivo... No soy muy normal.
Era un sueño de toda chica adolescente estos modelos de muchos corazoncitos blancos, sobre todo por la delicadeza y calidad. Eran ideales para adornar la habitación juvenil y algunos de sus elementos para llevarlos al colegio.
Hasta aquí mi exposición de algunos objetos especiales de mi vida y que aún mantengo conmigo. Las épocas pasan pero los Recuerdos memorables quedan. 👀
Mis hijos se asombran de su existencia y las valoran, pues conocen mi vida y saben que si las conservo es porque representan algunos de los recuerdos bonitos de la infancia y adolescencia. Estoy segura que ellos las seguirán conservando para mostrarlas a sus hijos y se emocionen con los discos de vinilo, la fragancia de una agenda antigua, la cámara analógica y las demás reliquias que bien conservadas pueden seguir existiendo como orgullo de una época pasada y ajena a las futuras generaciones.

Today, I am attending to the invitation made by my friend
This invitation to share some of my objects valuable for their functional expiration and emotional charge, put me to choose among several and I finally selected five that were an important part of my childhood and adolescence. These I present them to you with all the emotion that they produce in me whenever you see them, because they are a little piece of what made me happy many, many, years ago.
Below is my display of treasures that are memorable memories:
Vinyl records 💿
These sure are a great treasure very precious to me. The vinyl records of some of the favorite music I had in my childhood and teenage years I keep them intact. They were the big models, those called LP or Long Play that were used more frequently until the modern CD or Compact Discs arrived. But nothing better than the old ones. I have several LPs of the artists I enjoyed the most in the Pick Up sound system of the house, with its peculiar arm and needle that was placed over the record. I remember that you had to make sure that the record was not dirty or scratched on the surface so that the playback would be ideal. It was always necessary to clean them with absorbent cotton and alcohol. Unforgettable commitment of a work that was continuous, if I wanted a good sound of the music of my favorite Long Plays in the decades of the 80s.
This type of vinyl record today is not used unless you have an old turntable, however they are still sold as antiques in some stores and street sales in my town. I was motivated to keep mine thinking of the antique value for when I have my children and grandchildren. I treasure 22 records, which I marked with my name and the date I got each one. Among them you will see mostly pop music, my favorite genre, plus electronic and some romantic music.
My thing was modern beats and songs especially in English. I was a quiet little girl but a bit of a rocker.
Camera 📸
Analog cameras, have a special value for the generations of the last century and a little further. This is because the camera is born by the desire of man to capture images which produced several attempts, different from drawing, painting and sculpture that were the artistic techniques used since ancient times. In order to obtain images under a new system, many experiments were made in ancient times until modern times, when chemical photography reached its peak until the appearance of digital photography. The roll cameras, like the one I show you, were already from a more modern analog era.
Although they were a hassle because of the roll that necessarily had to be used to capture and develop the photographs. However, I miss the manual cameras because they have been completely replaced, even digital cameras, by phones with built-in camera.
VHS cassettes 📼
These cassettes for video recording on tape, were gradually displaced with the advent of DVD and then CDs or compact discs became the most popular. But I remember that this type of format was still in use, especially in television stations. I can attest to this because of my experience in a television station. I also remember the audiovisual works that I delivered in this VHS format in my time as a student of social communication and that I still have. I also remember the need to convert the VHS format to DVD. This technological modernization, which does not stop, really keeps humanity on the trot, but above all it implies increasing expenses. Still, the valuable things that remain are those objects that contain life from an era that brings back fond memories.
Rose-scented journal 🌹
Youth diaries are perhaps not so common to use nowadays. Everything is shared through social networks and the more public moments and thoughts are made, the better it is for most of the new generation. As you realize I do not generalize, because it is possible that there are girls or boys who keep some daily and private record of some lived experiences, either digitally or under the traditional handwritten in some notebook or diary like the one I show you.
This agenda was among the gifts for my 15th birthday and I remember how the silver cover with a rose and embossed letters that said "Perfume " made an impact on me, it seemed very elegant. But the most delicate thing was the rose fragrance it gave off. At first I started using it as "My personal diary ", but after a few months I realized that it was not very convenient to have a book as a tear cloth that anyone can read. "If you don't want something to be known don't say it or write it down ".
So, one day I took out all the pages I had written and burned them. From then on I put it to better use: Agenda for various notations I used it for several years because it had so many sheets. Then I kept it in my trunk of memories, a box that I have special, where there are some sentimentally valuable objects and that bring me memorable memories.
It really was very beautiful even if you see it like this, battered as a sign of the daily use I gave it for many years.
Now for the most amazing thing:
After 34 years... It still retains its perfume!
When I took it out to take the photos I use in this publication, the first thing I did as I used to do when I was young, is to approach it to smell it and to my surprise it still keeps its rose fragrance. I showed it to my youngest son and my brother who was visiting my house and they were amazed. It is amazing.
School set 📔
This type of kit is still used and there are a variety of designs on the market, but the one I show you, I remember was very fashionable in my teenage years. This kit was one of the gifts I received at my 15th birthday party and it consisted of several elements, a wastebasket, an accessory holder with a lid, a card holder and a portfolio folder. These last two are the ones I keep and you will be able to see in this publication.
The card holder contains all the cards and labels that I kept from my high school days until the beginning of my youth. Then I kept it with everything I had inside. I have it in my special box, along with the scented planner and other items that are memorable keepsakes.
The portfolio folder, multi-compartment, sturdy portfolio folder. I remember that I kept inside it my most precious drawings. The most incredible thing is that it is as good as new, as you can see.
Friends I'm telling you about a folder that has 34 years with me. Definitely... I'm not very normal.
It was a dream of every teenage girl these models of many little white hearts, especially for the delicacy and quality. They were ideal to decorate the youth room and some of its elements to take them to school.
So much for my display of some special items from my life that I still keep with me. Epochs pass but Memorable memories remain 👀
My children are amazed at their existence and value them, because they know my life and know that if I keep them it is because they represent some of the beautiful memories of childhood and adolescence. I am sure that they will continue to keep them to show them to their children and be thrilled with the vinyl records, the fragrance of an old agenda, the analog camera and the other relics that well preserved can continue to exist as pride of a bygone era and alien to future generations.
