Warm greetings and a hug 🌷
Daily life and its demands keep us busy. I don’t know if you agree, but as women of today—of the modern era—I feel we live in a world that constantly demands we take an active role in many different areas of life; this means that, nowadays, we are deeply committed women. I believe this is good—even necessary—because if we focus solely on our own individual lives, we miss out on genuine opportunities for personal growth.
You know, one never stops reflecting—even if it might seem trivial to do so. Yet, we need to dedicate a few minutes to it now and then; in fact, I would say we should take time for reflection every day, especially when inspired by God’s wisdom. I believe that by isolating ourselves—thinking that leads to a relaxed life—we deprive ourselves of the privilege of helping to uplift those around us. We can hardly imagine how many people are waiting for someone to notice their needs—and that someone could be us.
So, if we simply adopt a detached stance—remaining indifferent to the comings and goings of life because we feel it doesn't concern us, or because we prefer to live without facing the challenges and risks inherent in being alive—we will quite simply squander many opportunities for growth. And, as I mentioned earlier, we will deprive ourselves of the privilege of contributing to the development of those around us.
Commitment #1
Of course, the first commitment we must make is to God and to ourselves; by committing to ourselves, we understand the importance of caring for our intellect, our spiritual lives, and our bodies. When we care for ourselves holistically—under God’s guidance—we cultivate a genuinely positive mindset.
Commitment #2
Another commitment we must firmly embrace as women is to our families. Our families need us and look to us as a constant source of support; God is pleased when we care for others with love, tenderness, and without a spirit of complaint. On the contrary, let our finest adornment be a spirit of service and solidarity, honing our gifts and talents with every opportunity to serve within the home.
Commitment #3
Here is another commitment we need to make: a commitment to society. Yes, I know we often feel crushed, overwhelmed, and stressed by society; yet, friends, we are not alone in the universe—even if we mistakenly believe that isolation is better. But believe me, you and I need what others have, and surely someone else needs what you and I have to offer; this is our opportunity to practice generosity through sharing. Please remember that what you possess—your blessings and your abilities—can help equip others, instruct them in a specific area, meet a need, dry tears, and bring joy.
Believe me, when we commit our lives to serving and helping others, we are the ones who benefit most; we set selfishness aside and leave many of our personal burdens behind.
In closing, let us remember that a woman committed to God, her family, and society experiences immense joy. So, let us not go through life merely as spectators, for the Lord is our Helper.
A hug 🌷
Here is a biblical gem for you:
“Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial.
“Everything is permissible,” but not everything is constructive.
Let no one seek their own interests, but rather the interests of others.
