At times we underestimate the intelligence of animals and birds. This female Peafowl knows Marian and she found her.
A story of love and friendship on this happy Friday!
A happy Friday for the Peafowl lady (Pavo cristatus) as she recognized Marian and came to greet her. Not really to greet her hahaha, but she knows what Marian carries in her bag.
A real love affair.
"Oh yes", she whispered as Marian lowered her bag!
"Ah"! There it comes, all of the nice things to eat.
"Some more please, pretty please" she whispered.
Oh yes, there it was and yeah, it was so good.
Two happy ladies spending some time together.
These two young gents do not possess the wisdom of the ages yet, as they looked and then scattered.
Finally, this is a photo that I took in 2016 during a week long visit in the Drakensberg. Every morning this male Peafowl would come to greet Marian with a tail flare.
Yes their natures are as diverse as one can get, but at times human and wildlife can converse in beautiful ways.
The male Peafowl in the photo above is thankful for the feed that Marian gave them every day and he showed his gratitude in the best way that he could.
But here's the thing!
In human life we are all as different from each other as the Peafowl and Marian. Different nations have different thought patterns, habits and lifestyles, yet we cannot appreciate this and we rather run other's down, simply for a lack of tolerance!
Something here below to think about!
Human diversity makes tolerance more than a virtue, it makes it a requirement for survival.
