Yup, and we are getting ready to plant soon enough!
A while ago, a friend from YouTube blessed us with some purple sweet potatoes. Total, we had two big ones and two little ones. This big one is doing the best, and we are excited to get them growing in our garden.
Just by placing the sweet potato in a jar half full of water, they can start to root and grow vines. The vines are called "slips" and can be planted into the soil, creating an entire new plant. We are so excited to give growing the purple sweet potatoes a try this year.
Just check out all of the roots on growing out of it. Stuff like this blows my mind, and I'm glad to see it first hand. Here's some more photos of this one so far. Check it out!
