While we learn various skills or use the skills we've already acquired, it's important to be passing that information on to the next generation too. With some venison still not canned or frozen, we've been cooking some recently and preserving it. With some of what would otherwise just be scraps, we decided to make some venison jerky for our upcoming trip.
