Hi bloggers and food lovers, good afternoon! I hope you’re having a great day. What are you having for lunch today? Today I made a simple and easy-to-prepare lunch, a different take on sushi. I made cucumber sushi for lunch this time; it tastes savory and creamy, and it’s fun to eat thanks to the crunchy texture of the cucumber. Okay, let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
1 cucumber
8 shrimp
1 egg
a pinch of salt
a pinch of black pepper
a pinch of chili powder
1 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp sambal sauce
cooking oil
6 tbsp cooked rice
1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions:
Prepare the cleaned shrimp
Add salt, black pepper, egg white, and chili powder to the shrimp
Stir until well combined, then marinate for 1 hour
While waiting, wash the cucumber and cut it in half
Remove the seeds and hollow out the cucumber to form a bowl
Set aside
Place warm rice in a bowl
Add sesame oil on top, then stir until well combined
Set aside
Heat oil in a pan
Add the marinated shrimp
Pan-fry the shrimp until they change color and become fragrant
Remove from heat, chop the shrimp into small pieces, then place them in the bowl
Add cream cheese and chili sauce to the bowl
Stir until well combined
Place the rice into the cucumber container prepared earlier
Arrange the shrimp pieces on top
Then sprinkle with chopped green onions and black and white sesame seeds
