Hi bloggers and food lovers, how are you all doing? I’ve been busy these past few days preparing for my sister’s wedding. So I’ve been baking a few cakes, one of which is this classic marble cake. This recipe makes two cake pans. Okay, let’s get right to it

Ingredients:

  • 10 eggs
  • 500 grams of butter
  • 500 grams of granulated sugar
  • 500 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 packets of vanilla
  • 40 grams of sweetened condensed milk
  • mocha paste

Instructions:

  • Crack the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks

  • Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form

  • Set aside

  • In another bowl, combine the sugar and butter and add the vanilla powder

  • Mix the ingredients until well combined and fluffy with mixer

  • Gradually add the egg yolks to the batter while continuing to mix

  • Add the all-purpose flour and reduce the mixer speed

  • Turn off the mixer once the mixture is well combined

  • Set aside a small amount of the batter

  • Pour the batter into a baking pan that has been greased with margarine and dusted with flour

  • Add the mocha paste to the remaining batter then mix the batter with the paste

  • Pour the mocha-flavored batter on top of the plain batter

  • Swirl the batters together with a fork to create a marbled pattern

  • Place the pan in the oven and bake at 180°C for 1 hour

  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool

  • The classic marble cake is ready to enjoy
