Hi bloggers and food lovers, how are you all doing? I’ve been busy these past few days preparing for my sister’s wedding. So I’ve been baking a few cakes, one of which is this classic marble cake. This recipe makes two cake pans. Okay, let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
10 eggs
500 grams of butter
500 grams of granulated sugar
500 grams of all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 packets of vanilla
40 grams of sweetened condensed milk
mocha paste
Instructions:
Crack the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks
Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form
Set aside
In another bowl, combine the sugar and butter and add the vanilla powder
Mix the ingredients until well combined and fluffy with mixer
Gradually add the egg yolks to the batter while continuing to mix
Add the all-purpose flour and reduce the mixer speed
Turn off the mixer once the mixture is well combined
Set aside a small amount of the batter
Pour the batter into a baking pan that has been greased with margarine and dusted with flour
Add the mocha paste to the remaining batter then mix the batter with the paste
Pour the mocha-flavored batter on top of the plain batter
Swirl the batters together with a fork to create a marbled pattern
Place the pan in the oven and bake at 180°C for 1 hour
