Hi bloggers and food lovers, how do you usually like your chicken? Fried, grilled, or something else? This time, Iβm going to share an easy recipe featuring chicken as the main ingredient. The chicken is marinated in seasonings until the flavors are absorbed, then cookedβitβs very simple and perfect for meal prep. Alright, letβs get started
Ingredients:
200 grams chicken thigh fillet
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1 clove garlic
a small piece of ginger (about the size of a fingernail)
1/2 onion
chopped scallions
sesame seeds
1 tsp chili flakes ( optional )
olive oil or cooking oil
50 ml of water
Steps:
Rinse the chicken thoroughly under running water, then dice the chicken thigh fillets into several pieces
Place in a bowl
Add the sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper
Add the grated garlic
Stir until well combined, then transfer to a smaller container that fits in the chiller
Let it marinate overnight or for at least 30 minutes
In the morning, I add grated ginger to the chicken and mix them well
After marinating overnight, remove the chicken from the refrigerator
Heat a pan, then add olive oil
Once the oil is hot, add the chicken that has been marinated overnight
Cook the chicken while stirring
Add chili flakes and water
Once itβs halfway cooked, add the chopped green onions
Cook until the liquid from the chicken is released and thickens
Once cooked, top with chopped scallions
Turn off the heat, then serve the chicken teriyaki with cooked rice
Add slices of cucumber or your favorite vegetables then sprinkle with sesame seeds
