Hi bloggers and food lovers, I hope you鈥檙e all having a great holiday. On this day off, I鈥檝e created another udon dish. For some reason, I鈥檝e been really into udon lately. This time, it鈥檚 a beef udon stir-fry that looks like Jajangmyeon, but it doesn鈥檛 use black soybean paste so it's not Jajangmyeon. Okay, let鈥檚 get right to it.
Ingredients:
1 package of udon
1L water
40 grams of sliced beef (sliced beef is recommended)
A small piece of ginger
1 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
1 clove of garlic
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp chili flakes
1 tbsp sambal sauce
100 ml water
1 egg (optional)
sesame seeds
cooking oil
Instructions:
Bring the water to a boil then add the udon and boil for 1 minute
Once cooked, drain the water and set the udon aside
Prepare the marinated beef (marinated for 3 hours with ginger slices, pepper, 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1/2 tsp oyster sauce, and baking soda)
Heat the cooking oil, then add the marinated beef and stir-fry briefly
Add the sambal sauce, chili flakes, and the remaining sweet soy sauce and salted soy sauce
Saut茅 until the seasonings are slightly absorbed
Add 100 ml of water, then reduce the heat and cook until the liquid has reduced
Once the liquid has reduced, add the previously boiled udon
Stir until well combined
Once well combined, serve on a plate topped with a sunny-side-up egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top and a little chili powder
