Hi bloggers and food lovers! Have a great day—I hope you’re all enjoying yourselves. Today I’m going to share a super simple snack recipe. I often see these potato pancakes in Korean dramas, so when I had just one leftover potato and didn’t know what to do with it, I decided to make these savory potato pancakes and it's easy to make. Okay, let’s get right to it
Potato Pancakes
First, peel the potato until it’s completely clean, then grate it using a grater until it’s broken down into small pieces like this. Once the potato is fully grated, squeeze out the excess water, then add a pinch of salt, pepper, and garlic powder that’s it. Next, mix all the ingredients until well combined.
Next, heat oil in a skillet, then place the potato mixture on the pan. Spread and flatten it into a round pancake shape—the thinner, the better, for a crunchier texture. Cook for about 2 minutes over medium heat, then flip to cook the other side. Cook until both sides are golden brown and the edges look crispy. Once done, set aside.
Dipping Sauce
For the dipping sauce, I also made it with simple ingredients: a little soy sauce, a pinch of sugar, chili flakes (it’s actually better with gochugaru, but I don’t have any right now), and sesame seeds. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined, and the dipping sauce is ready. The potato pancake isready to eat.
