When I joined Steem, I had no idea what I was getting into. It was similar to when I had my first baby, or took my first (and last) job as a teacher - everyone seems to be able to do this easily, so it can't be that hard, right?
Boy was I flummoxed for months. My value started out at twelve cents, and two months later it was eight. I hadn't the slightest idea how to make money here. I think I was assigned eight followers immediately who had nothing whatsoever to do with me it, and was stumped as to how to get others to follow me, let alone read a word I wrote. I knew there were these things called resource credits that got depleted for some reason and I could do nothing whatsoever until the next day. I put my best stuff from a ways back on my blog, and got nothing but a few worthless bot votes in return. I don't know why I stayed here, although I very much appreciated the content I found.
Then I discovered 
I have always imagined Uncle Bruni's eyes to be a warm amber in color, for real. Anyone know if I am right about that? He seemed to be saying so in his encourager comment on my freewrite from yesterday.
