A slightly breezy, mild morning. Today was the day for my interval-walking loop around the peninsula along the Spree, combined with breathing and meditation exercises. Autumn is making its presence felt; the first chestnuts have fallen, and I collected a few of them for my neighbor’s daughter to use in crafts. Plus, the especially large ones are great for juggling in your hands like qigong balls. Apart from that, I also came across a proper chicken-of-the-woods mushroom, which I’ve brought back for you. It’s edible, but I wouldn’t pick it to eat where I found it.

Ein leicht windiger, milder Morgen. Die Halbinselrunde im Intervall-Walking mit Atem- und Meditationsübungen an der Spree war heute dran. Der Herbst streckt seine Fühler aus, die ersten Kastanien sind gefallen und ich hab ein paar davon für die Nachbarstochter zum Basteln eingesammelt. Außerdem lassen sich die besonders großen Exemplare sehr gut wie Qi Gong Kugeln in den Händen jonglieren. Abgesehen davon bin ich auch noch einem amtlichen Chicken of the Woods Pilz begegnet, den ich euch mitgebracht habe. Der ist zwar essbar, aber dort, wo ich ihn fand, würde ich ihn nicht zum Essen einsammeln.
