Another warm and windy morning, with high humidity and a dramatic sky. I hopped on my bike and rode to Volkspark Jungfernheide, which smelled wonderfully of the forest again after the rain during the night. On the island by the shore, in the company of the largest family of swans in the area, seven birds in all, I enjoyed breathing and meditation exercises, letting the reflections of the morning sun on the water flicker into my eyes, with an effect similar to that old analog “Dream Machine” that you can easily build yourself with a cardboard cylinder and a record player. Of course, I’ve brought back photos of the sky above the lock and the swan family for you to admire.

Ein warmer und windiger Morgen wieder mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und dramatischem Himmel. Ab aufs Rad und losgeradelt zum Volkspark Jungfernheide, der nach dem Regen in der Nacht wieder herrlich nach Wald roch. Auf der Insel am Ufer habe ich dann in Gesellschaft der größten Schwanenfamilie hier in der Gegend, 7 Tiere insgesamt, Atem- und Meditationsübungen genossen und mir die Reflexionen der Morgensonne vom Wasser in die Augen flackern lassen, mit ähnlichem Effekt wie diese alte analoge „Dream Machine“, die man sich einfach mit einem Pappzylinder und einem Plattenspieler bauen kann. Den Himmel über der Schleuse und die Schwanenfamilie habe ich euch natürlich zum bestaunen mitgebracht.
