Yet another cloudy and blustery day as the remnants of the tropical storm linger over the southwest but the rain has eased up and I was able to enjoy 7 miles on the (mostly) trails.
I started off with a mile climb up the forest service road to the Mingus trails entrance point and then it was onto a winding loops along the foothills at a careful not to trip pace.
I'm not particularly concerned with a faster pace, especially on these rocky trails, since my focus right now is rebuilding my endurance for ultras.
There my pace will be nice and slow for hours.
Looking forward to dryer days and cooler weather soon.
