The wind whipped like whispers from winter’s last breath. I had just enough energy for a quick morning walk, so I strolled the Luiseninsel loop through the palace gardens. My steps slowed as I reached the water. There, I stood still, breathing with intention, listening as birds struck up their dawn chorus. The trees swayed gently, almost conducting the melody. It felt less like walking and more like wandering through a whispered symphony. Afterward, I hunted down a few groceries, quick and quiet. Before, on my way to the gardens, sunlight hit the eastern Stüler building just right, lighting up the round temple across from the palace like a spotlight. It practically shouted, “Take me!” I couldn’t ignore it. So I did. And I brought it back here to share with you.

Der Wind wehte wie ein Flüstern vom letzten Atemzug des Winters. Ich hatte nur Kraft für einen kurzen Spaziergang und nahm die Runde um die Luiseninsel im Schlosspark. Am Wasser blieb ich stehen, atmete bewusst und lauschte dem Vogelkonzert, das die Bäume wie Dirigenten begleiteten. Es war weniger ein Spaziergang, mehr ein Streifzug durch ein leises Konzert. Danach fing ich noch ein paar Lebensmittel ein. Davor, auf dem Weg zum Schlosspark beleuchtete die Sonne den Rundtempel auf dem östlichen Stülerbau gegenüber dem Schloss so perfekt, als wäre sie dafür bestellt worden. Er rief mir förmlich zu: „Nimm mich.“ Und genau das tat ich, um ihn euch auch zu zeigen.
