A beautiful but rather chilly fall morning—and the first one where I felt I should have worn a long-sleeved shirt instead of a short-sleeved one. Luckily, there were hardly any clouds, and the sun soon came out, warming me up on my morning walk through the palace park on the Luiseninsel loop, which included breathing exercises and meditation on the shore by the old alder tree. Right next to the bridge to Luisen Island, the Gotland sheep were grazing again today, and my shadow fell right between two of them. Of course, I had to capture that moment and bring it home with me. Along with that, a rather sad picture of the hollow tree on the island—especially when you know how lovingly the interior was usually decorated. Someone apparently decided to put an end to that—what a shame. And then there was the knot hole in the swamp cypress, beneath which I also lost myself in thought a bit; it seemed to be looking back at me, illuminated by the morning sun.

Ein schöner, aber ziemlich kühler Herbstmorgen und der erste, an dem ich das Gefühl hatte, besser ein langärmliges Shirt angezogen zu haben statt des Kurzarms. Zum Glück war es kaum bewölkt und die Sonne kam bald heraus und wärmte mich auf meinem Morningwalk durch den Schlosspark auf der Luiseninselrunde inklusive Atemübungen und Meditation am Ufer bei der alten Erle. Gleich neben der Brücke zur Luiseninsel grasten heute mal wieder die Gotlandschafe und mein Schatten lag direkt zwischen zwei von ihnen. Das musste ich natürlich festhalten und mitbringen. Dazu ein eher trauriges Bild vom hohlen Baum auf der Insel, wenn man weiß, wie liebevoll der Innenraum sonst immer dekoriert war. Irgendjemand war wohl der Meinung, das zu beenden, schade. Und dann war da noch das Astloch der Sumpfzypresse, unter der ich auch etwas in Gedanken versank, das mich von der Morgensonne beleuchtet anzuschauen schien.
