OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 994th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

The Sunday Samgyup Gathering: A Family Bonding

Sunday mornings are a time for rest and rejuvenation, a time to slow down and savor the simple moments with loved ones. And for my family, it is no different. Every Sunday, we wake up to the sound of birds chirping and the soft light of the sun creeping through the windows. We start our day by embarking on a journey to the farm, where we breathe in the fresh air and take in the beauty of nature. As we walk through the fields, we talk and laugh, enjoying each other's company and the tranquility of the morning. And when we arrive at the farm, we sit together and raise our glasses, clinking them together in a toast to another week spent together.

Feliz Día del Maestro | Happy Teachers Day

Today, January 15 is an important date for me, as for all teachers in this country, because on January 15, 1932, when Juan Vicente Gómez was president of Venezuela, teachers at that time united and formed a society in order to defend their labor rights and improve education in the country, however, October 5 is celebrated worldwide as Teachers' Day, this was established in 1994.

[ESP/ENG] Delicioso y apetitoso Arroz con pollo, camarones . Delicious and appetizing Rice with chicken, shrimp .

Hello friends, food lovers and great artists in the culinary art of this beautiful Foodies Bee Hive Community. Today I bring to you my "Delicious and appetizing rice with chicken, shrimp and mortadella", a rich and healthy dish, with only chives and a little oregano, I do it this way because the little ones in the house do not like vegetables so I try to do it in a way that is rich and that everyone can enjoy, a delicious rice with few ingredients. Below is the list of materials I used and the procedure. I hope you like it and enjoy my post.

Warrior of Time

"That is what happened. So now, with the ring on your finger, you can return back to your city. You can become king again," I say.

The joy of delightfulness

We are scooping up and taking in delight in all the many ways it arrives to us: we delight in the morning - the solitude of morning and the chatter of morning, and morning's light. We delight in the way the sun seeps in slowly now that it's September, reminding us to go easy when we are starting again. We delight in that first sip of coffee. And in the choosing of the coffee cup. We delight in the knowledge that a day can consist of so much. We delight in the idea that anything might change, and that anything might be here to stay.

It's not always smooth sailing : Ladies of Hive Community Contest #117

I've been there in that situation just recently where I started a new job and I've struggled to find make the time to Hive. I've even written a post about it admitting that it has taken a toll on me emotionally. What would I say to someone facing the same feelings?

Hive should never feel like work. If it does, then you may be in it for the wrong reasons to begin with. Hive should add to your life, not subtract from it. It is a way for us to express ourselves and the monetization should be an added bonus to the myriad other things that Hive has to offer us...

The small change with a big result

Over the last two weeks I've watched a transformation that happens virtually in front of my eyes each day and it breaks my heart a little more each day. I don't show it, I put on a brave face and smile, talk about happy things and try to create an atmosphere that is not miserable or sad, but I cry a lot and I am mostly broken.

Attending to a Free Concert: A Night to Remember

In the past few months, several famous artists, both local and international, have announced their intentions to have concerts in the Philippines. Some of the notable names include LANY, The Script, Calum Scott, and Billie Eilish.

One of the most recent and controversial concerts is the reunion concert of Eraserheads. This band is an OG in the Filipino music industry. Despite the expensive ticket prices (with P17,000 being the most expensive and P3,000 being the least), they still achieved a sold-out status. This speaks volumes about how famous they are.

Keto Bread - I'm back tweaking the oldest food in the world

I had a slice of this for breakfast this morning with some eggs and bacon. To be fair, though, while it tasted great, this particular loaf goes better with sweet than savoury. That is to say some jam, marmalade or honey (or Nutella for you chocolate and nut loving folks out there), with some butter, would be perfect. That, of course, and a hot cup of coffee ☕️

Seeds Have Arrived - What to grow?- by Sunscape

I am a little bit late on ordering my seeds this 2023 season but some of them are beginning to arrive. I thought it was about time for me to start organizing them and deciding which ones I will actually be growing this spring.

I grew all three of the above last year and was very pleased with the bounty they produced. The citrus varieties did not turn color until late into the summer and early fall. However, they were very tasty and a lot hotter than I expected them to be.
