Niche Community Compilation #61

Hello everyone! OCD has long supported leading niche communities through its Community Incubation Program, but Hive is full of smaller communities outside the program that deserve support too.

This compilation features posts from those other niche communities, nominated by OCD's community curators through scrobble.life/curation and accepted by OCD's curation team. Highlighting both the authors and the communities they post in helps smaller communities grow their subscribers and engagement, and a small boost goes a long way.

Happy birthday of our beloved community—the @plantpoweronhive community—and today I would like to contribute a small cake for the celebration; although it is a simple cake, I am truly happy to be able to take part in this celebration. I am also extremely grateful to the…

This is my contribution to @mipiano’s challenge for September. It might seem like an early post, since September is still almost a year away, but that’s not the case. I’m a month late, but here’s my post dedicated to towels. Link It wasn’t easy to put this collection together,…

These past few days I was a little bit busy in the field harvesting my shallots. The season really brought me a bunch of surprises, even when I thought that this would be a good one and the harvest would be nice, but still there were a few unpleasant surprises that popped up. I…

The flower is rare. At least, Misou has never seen one like it, beautiful in the moonlight that is streaming through the window of this autumnal night. She peers through the window glass and sees thin wisps of mist floating over farm fields in the distance, beyond the city…

FIGURE IT OUT — Shavon Bonnie Legion × Brian / Improv Guitar Jams A blues guitar improvisation becomes an original song about the noise we live inside—and the quiet kindness that cuts through it. I’m a regular listener to Brian’s Improv Guitar Jams channel. His blues pieces…

Greetings, dear @drinklovers. Recently, my acerola trees ( Malpighia emarginata ) continue to bear fruit; in fact, I am currently harvesting between one and two kilos a day—a huge blessing that allows me to eat them raw or as juice. I know this harvest is nearing its end, as the…

Good evening, friends! I hope you’re all doing great. Today I want to share with you a photo shoot I did with a beauty therapist from my city—or rather, the results of it. Her name is Maria, and she specializes in wood therapy and body beauty treatments. She wanted to take some…

From October 15 to 17, a highly original fair featuring artist-produced works (books, publications, records) took place in Coimbra (Portugal), titled FERA [Feira de Edições Realizadas por Artistas]. Eng: Beast [Fair of Artist-Produced Works] The publications were linked to…

That concludes this batch. Congratulations to everyone featured, and keep exploring Hive's communities!
