OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1225th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

A Nostalgic Walk At Camp Phillips

I felt nostalgic about the good old days when I went to a place that holds a special place in my heart, not to mention that it left a lot of memories when I was younger and it made me reminisce about my high school days.

When I visited Agusan Canyon, I had a great time and that is the moment when I decided to pass again to the stairs I never passed for almost twenty years now.

Garden Update: New Eggplants, Bell Peppers and Others <3 <3 <3

If in my previous post I shared several pictures of our wild chili (siling labuyo), this time, I'm going to show you updates of our bell pepper.

I don't usually eat bell pepper when cooked, but I like to eat it fresh as an ingredient in a salad. I also like eating it as a pizza topping. I don't know why but there are several vegetables that I enjoy eating raw more than cooked ones. That's why, in our garden, we try to keep it organic. It's much healthier that way.

Eco Friendly Toilet Roll Review

Hello friends! As a life long environmentalist, I've always been interested in trying to lessen my impact and choose the greenest options available for my needs. This means I've been buying recycled or bamboo toilet roll since the 90s, and have tried a lot of different brands. My priority is that it is recycled, bamboo if recycled isn't an option (or I hate the only recycled option available ...more on that later), and then no plastic if that's possible. Some of the brands I really liked are discontinued (looking at you, brown/undyed Seventh Generation), and some are hard to find (again, more on that later), but hopefully between these options you can find one that you like, too.

Street Art #617 Mural Festival : Tribute Alex Scaner, Montreal

In this alleyway, the entire Street Art community pays tribute to Scan. I wrote a post about him a while back StreetArt #312. His 20 years of practice have left an indelible mark on the streets of Montreal. 6 years after his death, he's still with us. RIP...

Salsa casera de tomates margariteños 🍅🍅 / homemade margariteños tomato sauce

Hello friends, happy night everyone, I hope you are very well, today I went to visit my mother and a lady just passed by selling a bag of margarita tomatoes for only $1. The point is that they were frozen and I told my mother not to waste them the opportunity because although they were not served for salad we could prepare a homemade Passata like the one we find in the supermarket, the tomato margariteño is usually a bit expensive and that's why I told him to grab it and we'd get to work to make that sauce, this does not have many ingredients but I assure you that it is super good for our stews and we can store it in reused hermetic jars like mayonnaise, so without further ado I will show you how we made it together and how we later use it to prepare lunch.

My Lola's Backyard and a Birthday Celebration

Every time we visit our grandmother's family house on my father's side, I always take the chance to see their blooming backyard with tall bamboo and other trees that provide shade and an aesthetic view. The green surrounding and the sky attract a cozy vibe and made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

Behind these towering trees is a river, mainly known as the Mestizo River. It cannot be seen clearly in the photos because I did not go nearer to it since it was a bit rainy at that time. The land there is very soft, and it might erode. Further, there are insects roaming around the area. I am not afraid of them though, but I just don't think it's best to go near the river at that time.

I’m a Barbie Girl 💄💋. [ESP-ENG]

When I played with my barbies I spent hours looking at how beautiful these dolls were, especially their faces: perfect eyebrows, impeccable makeup, bright eyes, defined features. Participating in this initiative made me connect with the little Sofi who was shocked by the beauty of this world, the accessories, the details and the delicate and beautiful objects that our barbies brought. Playing with them was to know that you could be whatever you wanted to be 💗. Afternoons with my barbies were the beginning of an infinite world of creativity and imagination. ✨

5 Things I Wish I Knew About Being A BS Psychology Student In The Philippines

For context, I took up a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at De La Salle Lipa and graduated in 2019. No one in my family pursued a career in Psychology, so being the first one, I just had a general idea of what I was getting myself into. My aim is to be that “Ate” (older sister) or adult that I never had and give you a glimpse of what you might experience under the BS Psychology program.

ART EXHIBIT KITA2KITA 2023 | LA HERENCIA DAVAO, PHILIPPINES

Our school's fine art association planned to have another art exhibit here in La Herencia for UM fine arts students and alumni. I was invited since I'm a graduate but I had to think if I should join or not because my artworks are in Bukidnon and not here in Davao. I tried making a painting but it wasn't done on time, because the exhibit is starting a week before I decided to join in. 😆 I know, such a late decision hahaha!

The beauty of a DREAMCAST | RETRODREAM 💡💡💡[ENG/ESP]

Very good morning GEEK ZONE community, starting this week with lots of energy and good vibes in this opportunity I want to tell my experience with this console of a collector friend, the most important of the 90's, with an impressive image quality at that time of course. It has by name DREAMCAST in previous post we talked about this console, but one that was my property that had problems with the reader, each console in this great and small world of Venezuela can have unique and unmatched features because each owner gives its essence and originality depending on your taste.
