Niche Community Compilation #55

Hello everyone! OCD has long supported leading niche communities through its Community Incubation Program, but Hive is full of smaller communities outside the program that deserve support too.

This compilation features posts from those other niche communities, nominated by OCD's community curators through scrobble.life/curation and accepted by OCD's curation team. Highlighting both the authors and the communities they post in helps smaller communities grow their subscribers and engagement, and a small boost goes a long way.

@merit.ahama asked me specifically about my tips for learning French, and while my methodology is very unconventional, I’m excited to share it. My approach is a bit unusual mainly because of my language background. I'm a native Finnish speaker, and roughly 60% to 70% of…

I spent some time yesterday at Bacuranao Beach, east of Havana, where the 3rd Triathlon Open Challenger took place in the Masters category. And this time, unlike the previous ones, it was a team event. I took some photos and short videos there, which I later edited to keep the…

Butterflies in the large and varied Nymphalidae family are commonly known as brush-footed butterflies. There are quite a few distinct subfamilies in the family, with more than six thousand species, and the butterfly I'm about to show you today in this post belongs to the…
