I do not usually associate polymer clay with jewelry because, I see it as a sculpting medium. However, these past few days, friend of mine suggested making a set of jewelry and see how I feel about it. So I made bangles!

Like everything else with my journey, I wanted to learn while I create so I started by making the wire.

I got a clay and wrapped it on this initial bangle. I would have just made a clay snake then shaped it into a bangle but, I want to reinforce it. This is the best way to do it.

Then I got my stamp and a metal clay and did this.

I used my thin blade to just scour the top part/ design.

Then I used that to transfer on my bangle.

This is how it looks like- further up.

By the way, the scoured piece of clay looks like this before its attached to the bangle.

Post baking looks. I had been trying to decide if I wanted to cover this with resin or not. But for me, they already look awesome so I am going to leave them as it is.
