Hi Hive Fam.

It's a beautiful new week and I'm super energetic for the week.

Last week we had our basic short class. We taught shirt variations like shirt, and shirt dress, shirt sleeves and different sleeves.

To draft a shirt dress one will need the hip circumference, bust, sleeve length, shoulder measurement.

You'll need to divide the hip by four and add sewing allowance. Cut out the neckline and place the shoulder measurement.

I transferred the pattern onto the fabrics as seen in the previous picture.

Afterwards, the outfit was sewn. This is the finished look of the dress, with my student modeling it.

I love how versatile the dress is as it can be styled in different ways.

Which of the styled dress would you rather rock, A or B.

My student modelled it so well and she brought in her pattern for approval to be submitted this weekend.

The back of this outfit also has the corset and lace but we couldn't take a shot of it.
