Hello everyone, what's up with you guys? Today is my first time posting in this community. I've been sharing a couple of my jewelry creations and pieces with a particular community; The Holozing Community, for a while now, so I thought it's hight time I tried out other communities and luckily for me I found this jewelleries community where I can share my jewelry pieces too from time to time.
For my first jewelry creation for this community, I made a metallic bangles. I painted it blue and gave it a shiny and classic looks. I will share my process of making this bangle using photos excerpts where the steps are well shown with those photos, please do well to check them out and let me know your thoughts on this as I will bring more of such to this interesting community, thank you!
This is the beginning of my creation. I created this part using the tube tool, I drafted out the rounded shape I wanted, note it wasn't a circular shape, I didn't want it totally circular so I gave it slight corner curves then I validated it after getting the exact roundness I wanted
The second step is when I decided to shrink the corners of the tubes to give me a stylish bangle looks. At first I shrunk the centers of each sides of the tubes but I didn't like the outlook so I changed it to the corners instead and it happened to look much better so I left it at that and then stretched out the centers a bit using the drag tool and then remeshed and smoothened it.
For this step, I used the crease tool to create the patterns on the body of the bangle, as I didn't want to just leave it with sharp edges and smooth body surface. And giving it those stylish patterns on the body made it look even way better than when it was plain and smooth.
Ooops! My bad that I skipped the painting process as I forgot to take a snapshot of when I started painting, I got lost in the process that I only took the snapshot after I was done with choosing the fitting colours for my bangle, painting it to my desired taste
I introduced a little bit of lighting to my work after trying out different lighting angles for the piece to see which one made the metallic reflections come out perfectly
And there goes my bangle creation finishing for this interesting community..I do hope you like this one and looking forward to my next. Thank you!
