Eggs are always a staple ingredient, and I always have them at home. I usually keep a stock of eggs at home because they're a simple dish that can be prepared quickly on busy days or when I don't feel like cooking. Eggs have become more expensive lately, with a carton of about 30 eggs costing IDR 52,000, which is significantly higher than the usual price. The price of all basic necessities has skyrocketed. In an economic crisis like this, the increase in staple foods significantly impacts our purchasing power. Usually, the last resort is to turn simple ingredients into healthy, easy-to-prepare snacks.

So, this time, I'm going to prepare a simple, unusual dish. I'm making this as a snack to enjoy later with my husband. Scrambled Egg Dim Sum is the name of this dish. I intentionally made this dish like dim sum and steamed it to minimize the need for frying.

The combination of grated carrots, lettuce, and spring onions, along with scrambled eggs, creates a special combination. I added lettuce on purpose because I have a plentiful harvest in my mini garden. This dish is usually stir-fried, but it has a really delicious flavor. It's perfect for a simple, healthy diet menu and is definitely delicious.

The scrambled egg dim sum is ready to serve. Serve with chili sauce, and you know it's delicious, just like enjoying chicken dim sum. I really like the combination of savory, sweet, and spicy flavors.

The flavor combination is very delicious. I like the combination of vegetables, which adds fiber, and the addition of eggs for protein. Maybe next time I'll add potatoes for a more perfect combination.
