Today is the love day, here in Italy the 14 of February we celebrate the love, Valentine's Day has ancient origins and today, however, it is notoriously the day of lovers, many couples celebrate it with roses, gifts, dinners out or small holidays, we honestly do not celebrate often, for us it is not very important but today we gave ourselves a small gift , a lunch and a sweet just for us.
As an appetizer we opted for a classic Tuscan appetizer, with local cold cuts and cheeses, a real delicacy that is quick to prepare, today I won't list all the recipes of the dishes because there were many I will limit myself to telling about the lunch. For the first course we also went on the classic one, I had some leftover ragù, you can find the recipe for my ragù in my blog it is the penultimate post, and then spaghetti with ragù, simple and good and for the second course another great classic..Pork roll with potatoes, here is a classic dish made in the oven and bought from a trusted butcher. For dessert, however, we ordered a berry cheesecake from a pastry shop that we like, which was not only beautiful to look at but also tasted great! Happy Valentine's Day to all lovers!
