Mirrorland review, two twins, an imaginary world, a dark past and perhaps a dark present? ( Eng/ESP)

Today I had a rather eventful day but I still decided to review a book that I finished yesterday and I was very impressed, again of my favorite genre, the book is called mirrorland but in my opinion the title is also translated into my language, that is, into Italian It's fitting because she's called the other twin. This book, at least for me, is not one of those that immediately fascinated me from the beginning but little by little it managed to win me over.
It's about two twins, Cat and El, the book opens with their escape from an unspecified place, they are twins but they live a continent apart and their lives don't seem destined to get stuck again until El disappears during a trip sailboat. So the other twin flies to her hometown and their childhood home where El has settled by marrying their childhood best friend Ross.
Cat would happily do without staying in her old house and reminiscing about the past but this is where things get more interesting. The childhood home in her memories that mix with the present is a kind of wonderland, she and her sister had created an intricate innaginary universe for each room, each with its own peculiarity and particular characters, their group was then added Ross, special guest in this magical world.

Buenas noches Hivers 驴c贸mo est谩s? Hoy tuve un d铆a bastante agitado pero aun as铆 decid铆 rese帽ar un libro que termin茅 ayer y qued茅 muy impresionado, nuevamente de mi g茅nero favorito, el libro se llama mirrorland pero en mi opini贸n el t铆tulo tambi茅n est谩 traducido a mi idioma, eso es, al italiano.
Es apropiado porque se llama la otra gemela. Este libro, al menos a m铆, no es de los que inmediatamente me fascinaron desde el principio pero poco a poco consigui贸 conquistarme. Se trata de dos gemelas, Cat y El, el libro comienza con su fuga de un lugar no especificado, son gemelas pero viven en un continente aparte y sus vidas no parecen destinadas a volver a estancarse hasta que El desaparece durante un viaje en velero.
Entonces, la otra gemela vuela a su ciudad natal y a la casa de su infancia, donde El se instal贸 al casarse con su mejor amigo de la infancia, Ross. A Cat le encantar铆a prescindir de quedarse en su antigua casa y recordar el pasado, pero aqu铆 es donde las cosas se ponen m谩s interesantes. El hogar de la infancia en sus recuerdos que se mezclan con el presente es una especie de pa铆s de las maravillas, ella y su hermana hab铆an creado un intrincado universo imaginario para cada habitaci贸n, cada una con su peculiaridad y personajes particulares, a su grupo se sum贸 entonces Ross, invitado especial en este mundo m谩gico.

El always wanted to command in the world of pirates, in that of princesses, he wanted to lead in wars and competitions and dictate the fate of his sister and all the other imaginary characters involved. During the book there will be various jumps between the past and the future and on imagined adventures, so much so that it is believed that at times it is a fantasy genre work. In the present, El's disappearance worries everyone but no one sympathizes with the other twin, the outcast who fled the country, she will find herself once again immersed in memories and darkness and also in ambiguity with her sister's husband but this It won't stop her from investigating her twin's strange disappearance.
He will help others look for her but he will also investigate in his own way using as evidence for his investigations their common past but also the people who are part of his sister's life in the present and his sister seems to hide many secrets... For me this was an excellent book, not at all banal and very creative both in the writing style and in the bad plot which reserves many surprises. I highly recommend it to fans of the genre but also to those who aren't because it's really well done!

En el presente entre los dos gemelos no existe una buena relaci贸n y ni siquiera la hubo en el pasado, estaban en constante competencia en una relaci贸n continua de amor y odio, opresi贸n, envidia y competencia, incluso Ross era codiciado por ambos como eran roles en su mundo imaginario. El siempre quiso mandar en el mundo de los piratas, en el de las princesas, quiso liderar en guerras y competencias y dictar el destino de su hermana y de todos los dem谩s personajes imaginarios involucrados. A lo largo del libro se producir谩n diversos saltos entre el pasado y el futuro y sobre aventuras imaginadas, tanto es as铆 que se cree que por momentos se trata de una obra de g茅nero fant谩stico. En el presente la desaparici贸n de El preocupa a todos pero nadie se compadece de la otra gemela, la marginada que huy贸 del pa铆s, ella se encontrar谩 una vez m谩s inmersa en los recuerdos y la oscuridad y tambi茅n en la ambig眉edad con el marido de su hermana pero esto no se detendr谩. impedirle investigar la extra帽a desaparici贸n de su gemelo.
Ayudar谩 a otros a buscarla pero tambi茅n investigar谩 a su manera usando como evidencia para sus investigaciones su pasado com煤n pero tambi茅n las personas que forman parte de la vida de su hermana en el presente y su hermana parece esconder muchos secretos... Para m铆 fue un libro excelente, nada banal y muy creativo tanto en el estilo de escritura como en la mala trama que reserva muchas sorpresas. 隆Se lo recomiendo encarecidamente a los fan谩ticos del g茅nero pero tambi茅n a aquellos que no lo son porque est谩 muy bien hecho!
