Today, we ran some errands at various stores, and she wanted to buy some very special beauty masks for the afternoon, to do at home. She found these Halloween-themed face masks, even though they were a little out of season; they were on sale, and she wanted to buy them right away! They're really fun masks, and she obviously wanted us to try them right away. First, we all got comfortable—she and I in our pajamas, my husband in his sweatshirt. First, she cleansed our faces with micellar water and toner, and she also applied my face cream, which I use in the evening. Her dad, however, refused, saying that his beard would make everything stick.

She chose a Mexican-style Halloween mask for me. I don't remember the name of that type of mask (I'm asking the Hispanic community for help, you surely know it). She also tried hard to put it on me, using scissors to shape it perfectly. It was a little cold, and then, of course, we had to stand still. Finally, she used a mirror to put on her own mask, a scary pumpkin. We were truly terrifying, beautiful, and terrifying! And then we all had to stand still to make the masks work, and it was difficult because we kept laughing while looking at each other. It was a lovely home spa and our skin felt so much better and clearer afterwards, thanks to my stepdaughter!!!
