In fact, my husband and I took the opportunity this afternoon to go for a walk nearby; we headed to a quiet, semi-rural area close to home that’s lovely for a stroll. While we were out, we stumbled upon a new megastore and decided to pop in since we needed a few things. I’ve been looking for a case for my phone—a Redmi 17—for days now, but I still couldn't find one, not even there; on the bright side, though, I found plenty of other interesting things to buy; the store is huge and stocks a vast array of items—including appliances and bicycles. In the end, we bought some car accessories, plus a keychain and hair dye for me. We’ll definitely be back—and it’s close to home, too. What a great find!

When we got home, our cats were tired too, and shortly after dinner, we had an unpleasant surprise: a storm rolled in. While the storm itself was impressive, it caused a power outage across the entire area and in neighboring towns. Blackouts are rare here, so we were all worried; fortunately, power was restored in my area within an hour, and we managed with just candles. However, I know many places—especially in the mountains—are still without electricity. It was a fierce storm—or rather, a whirlwind, as the city’s weather alerts had warned. Luego fuimos a la biblioteca, donde me abastecí de libros como de costumbre; ya que estamos confinados en casa debido al calor, siempre es bueno tener algo que leer. Elegí varios thrillers interesantes. Al llegar a casa, nuestros gatos también estaban cansados y, poco después de cenar, nos llevamos una sorpresa desagradable: se desató una tormenta.
