Good evening, blog friends—how are you all doing? I’m back with a new post. Today has been a bit demanding, what with various bureaucratic tasks and some lingering anxieties; as I’ve mentioned in previous posts, my depression has been making its presence felt quite intensely lately. But there is one thing that made me happy: it finally rained today! After the sweltering heat of this summer, a truly autumnal, rainy day was exactly what was needed. I absolutely love rainy days—the rain always has a way of relaxing me. There’s something wonderful about coming home while it’s raining outside, settling onto the sofa with a nice herbal tea and a cozy blanket! And tonight, I finally got to wear my long-sleeved pajamas again. I also took a walk around the neighborhood and took the opportunity to snap some photos—of the rainy sky over my home, as well as little details in the surroundings: wet leaves in the neighbors' bushes, damp ivy, lovely flowers that are still holding on, and puddles on the ground. Yes, I definitely love rainy days—and, above all, I love this cooler temperature; it really was far too hot for autumn!

Unfortunately, the rain also brings damage—especially since we’ve been seeing torrential downpours, the likes of which we aren’t used to, though perhaps we should be, given the worrying reality of climate change. Some roads and terraces in the area have flooded, a few rivers have overflowed their banks, and there have been power outages in some places. We simply aren’t equipped for this kind of rainfall yet, and while there’s a fair amount of damage, thankfully no one has been hurt, and there’s nothing too catastrophic. As for me, I’m enjoying the rain from the comfort of my home, finally stretched out on my sofa, having fun editing some photos. For dinner—for the first time in a while—I made one of my favorite dishes: meat-filled tortellini in broth. It’s the perfect meal for a cold winter evening—it warms both the body and the heart! Tonight, I’ll definitely be settling in with a good book; there’s nothing quite like reading while it rains outside! Anyway, I’ll sign off for now—see you soon, blog friends!
