Hoy comparto mi visita a la playa Tío Pedro, ubicada en Carúpano, a pocos kilómetros de la terminal de pasajeros. Es una playa ideal para los niños gracias a sus aguas poco profundas y su oleaje suave. Aunque la tarde estaba lluviosa cuando fui, eso no impidió que la gente disfrutara del lugar. Primero, di un paseo y exploré zonas que no había visto en mi visita anterior, realizada hace ya varios años. Caminé por el sendero rocoso, observé la vegetación y vi a muchos niños construyendo los clásicos castillos de arena.
Desde este punto también se puede ver el muelle, una larga hilera de rocas y una amplia zona de arena entre la playa y dichas rocas; un sitio perfecto para hacer castillos de arena, caminar, relajarse o simplemente contemplar el paisaje. Además, hay establecimientos cercanos donde se pueden degustar deliciosos platos de mariscos.
Today I’m sharing my visit to Tío Pedro Beach, located in Carúpano just a few kilometers from the passenger terminal. It is a perfect beach for children due to its shallow water and gentle waves. Although it was a rainy afternoon when I visited, that didn't stop people from enjoying their time there. First, I took a walk and explored areas I hadn't seen during my previous visit—which was several years ago. I walked along the rocky path, observed the plants, and watched many children building the classic sandcastles.
From this spot, you can also see the pier, a long stretch of rocks, and a wide sandy area between the beach and the rocks—an ideal place for building sandcastles, walking, relaxing, or simply enjoying the scenery. There are also commercial establishments nearby where you can savor delicious seafood dishes.
