Most people are going through hidden battles, and until they spit it out, you wouldn't know. Some situations make us anxious, and no matter how we try to stay strong, it's just hard to not worry about them. As for me, there are many things I have been worried about, but in all, there's a particular one that has been messing with my mental health. It's been giving me sleepless nights, loss of appetite, and restlessness.

Anxiety is real and poses lots of burdens on people. How do you feel working on something that would give you a bit of financial stability, and at the verge of your breakthrough, someone sitting in an office just uses a pen and messes up the whole thing? It can be frustrating, right? Especially knowing that you have invested heavily in the project and are expecting to start reaping from your harvest, then all of a sudden, something transpires and you have no choice but to start all over afresh.

This is just my case, something I have been building with my husband for a long time, but somehow, someone is frustrating our effort. It has happened and sincerely, not everything we have total control over. I just have to face the reality, but out of frustration, my husband insisted on not following the right process anymore since he did the right thing initially, but the man simply wants to frustrate him. I may not be totally open to exactly what this issue is, but just know that not following the right process will mess up what we have been building for years if eventually we get caught.

Of course, getting caught is as easy as ABC; if not within one month, it may happen in just a few months, putting us in regret plus unnecessary heavy expenses. Convincing my husband to accept the reality and start all over has been one of the hardest things I have ever done with him. Like , I exhausted all the words of wisdom I know. I tried everything, painting lots of scenarios for him , yet he refused to see reason with me. My points are obvious; even people who didn't go to school can simply understand my point, but my husband shut down his heart and mind, never to see reason with me, but kept preparing with all seriousness to do things wrongly out of frustration.

To say that I have been overly worried is an understatement. I can't even think of other things within a few minutes without thinking of this particular issue, seeing his actions and movements. I have been like in a dream, waiting for someone to wake me up, but no, it's the reality. I mean, how can I watch all my effort over the years go down the drain because you feel frustrated? Why not just exercise patience and start all over, instead of destroying with your hands what we have labored for? This has been my dilemma, and tell me why I shouldn't worry or overthink? It's just hard, but who by worrying solve a problem?

It was time to take action, I said to myself, and I confided in a few of my friends, including my spiritual mentor, who was backing me up in prayers. A friend gave me some advice, which I followed, and surprisingly, it turned out positive. I was amazed! Sometimes, when we are faced with challenges, our minds may be shut down from potential ideas but clouded with complaints instead. I thank God for this friend of mine who is also a Hiver. God bless you more for me. Wisdom indeed is profitable to direct. That single idea solved my anxiousness and granted me peace today. I also know that God did a lot for me in the background, and that's why I usually approach my challenges with both human efforts and spirituality.

I wouldn't tell you that the issue is finally settled, but this little effort settled my anxiety, made my husband see reason with me, and now we are on the right track, even though the process may be delayed, but at the end, it will be worth it instead of doing otherwise.

Overall, we don't get over anxiety overnight, but I have learned to face my reality step by step, and gradually, reclaiming my peace will be possible.
