My brother had a procedure in the hospital last week Sunday, and the doctor advised that he come with a relative, as he will feel drowsy after all the medical stuff. So he called me in respect to that since I am his only sister living in Lagos State here.
Reading the whole analysis of the procedure, I was positive that everything will go well; I had no reason to entertain fear at all. I just prayed and called my twin brother to come for him as well, and that was it.
For some reason, my brother was tense prior to entering the theater; even inside the theater, he kept calling me on the phone to pray for him, sending me text messages and all that. I wanted to go in with him in the theater, but the hospital didn't allow that, so I just had to encourage him and assure him that God is in control.
A procedure that was planned to last for 90 mins took almost 3 hours, and at some point, I was afraid too, lol. I kept running around, praying, and walking around the hospital. Any medical personnel that comes out from the theater, I will rush to ask the person about my brother. Even when they assured me that he is fine at the theater, I didn't trust them. If not, why is it taking a lot of time? 🤔.
To be honest, the prayers I was saying at that point were mixed with fear, but I just had to keep praying it anyhow, hoping that God understands me. 😀
At the end of the day, my brother called me speaking so low, telling me that he was out but was transferred to a recovery room. I was so relieved at this point, and when he recovered like 60%, we were discharged from the hospital.Today he is sound and has resumed work already!
I also noticed that the hospital already started using robots as their customer service attendants, and I was like, "Wow, this is getting interesting indeed, and maybe in a few years to come, a lot of establishments won't need human customer service anymore and other services in line too.
" I better equip myself with the right skills before it's too late, hahaha.
