The REAL #BeerSaturday | HiveFest 📍Split [Eng][Esp]

I think it's complicated to establish a single day as the #BeerSaturday of HiveFest2024, I would rather say that there was a joint spirit of bringing #BeerSaturday every day with us. From the moment of our arrivals, tasting the different local brands to beat the heat, something I could talk about long and hard, to the formal talk of the project awaited by all, carried out on behalf of @detlev and closing the cycle of presentations with a beer tasting. Magical.

However, for me, the day I felt the spirit of this challenge the most, was when we spent it very relaxed playing pool and crowding a restaurant late at night, on an almost entirely unplanned day.

I think it was great because I had enough time to rest after having processed so much information the previous days and the atmosphere was already much more relaxed and friendly for having spent several days interacting with each other.

In addition, the appearance of the sign with the well-known image of Beersaturday got to me and I started to think that it was time to prepare some shots for the post about the real challenge, enjoying it live and next to its creator.

I had a particularly good time that day playing with @thebombkids, @darine.darine and @bugavi after @ph1102 and @cryptospa tried to give me some tips. Too bad I couldn't take some better photos playing with these guys, but I was just so entertained among them.

I was careful with alcohol consumption in front of the younger ones, so I went for the safe side and saw that there was wheat beer Paulaner I did not hesitate to choose it as my company that afternoon, it's a beer that always goes well with me and I find it light. And of course, there were @olga.maslievich @myinnervoice and @buttcoins around keeping an eye on us, so there was a responsible adult example to set. 😌

Creo que es complicado establecer un solo día como el #BeerSaturday del HiveFest2024, yo diría más bien que hubo un espíritu conjunto de llevar el #BeerSaturday cada día con nosotros. Desde el momento de nuestra llegada, probando las distintas marcas locales para apalear el calor, algo de lo que podría hablar largo y tendido, hasta la charla formal del proyecto esperado por todos, llevada a cabo de parte de @detlev y que dio cierre al ciclo de presentaciones con una cata de cervezas. Mágico.

Sin embargo, para mí, el día en que sentí más el espíritu de este reto, fue cuando lo pasamos muy relajados jugando billar y abarrotando un restaurante a última hora de la noche, en un día casi del todo improvisado.

Creo que fue genial porque tuve tiempo de descansar suficiente, luego de haber procesado tanta información los días anteriores y el ambiente era ya mucho más distendido y amistoso por haber compartido varios días interactuando entre nosotros.

Además, la aparición del cartel con la conocido imagen del Beersaturday llegó a mí y comencé a pensar que era momento de preparar algunas tomas para el post sobre el verdadero reto, disfrutándolo en vivo y al lado de su creador.

Ese día pasé especialmente bien jugando con @thebombkids, @darine.darine y @bugavi luego de que @ph1102 y @cryptospa intentaran darme algunos consejos. Lástima que no pude hacer unas mejores fotos jugando con ellos, pero es que estaba muy entretenida entre ellos.

Tuve cuidado con el consumo de alcohol ante los más pequeños, así que me fui por lo seguro y al ver que había cerveza de trigo Paulaner no dude en elegirla como mi acompañante esa tarde, es una cerveza que siempre me cae bien y me resulta ligera. Y claro, estaban por ahí @olga.maslievich @myinnervoice y @buttcoins vigilándonos, así que había que dar el ejemplo de adulto responsable. 😌

However, the most fun came when at nightfall, hunger and the closing of the pool hall, made us approach in herd to one of the nearest restaurants, a burger spot that I will talk about soon, but having had to wait a lot for so many orders we began to place, gave us time not only to enjoy a few pitchers of the Croatian beer PAN, but to take many photos with the #BeerSaturday sign and to introduce some users, like @dashpy, to the incredible challenge with the longest time inside our blockchain. Some internal onboarding haha.

There were conversations about everything a little bit, but also about beer and in particular about the PAN tap that they kept serving us during the wait, I think that's why there came a moment when the owner of the local, who had been grumpy for a while because of our sudden arrival, decided to close the cashier and we couldn't order more drinks, we took it rather as a joke because we understood that it was late and we practically stormed the place out of nowhere.

Another funny thing is how @ph1102 and I take pictures of #BeerSaturday super active and happy, at least the two times I've been present at these events, being that he doesn't like beer at all hahahaha but he's always there giving me support and helping me break the ice with people I don't know. He's like the popular big brother that everyone likes hahahaha.

Pero lo más divertido llegó cuando al caer la noche, el hambre y el cierre del billar, nos hizo acercarnos en manada a uno de los restaurantes más cercanos, un local de hamburguesas del que hablaré pronto, pero que al haber tenido que esperar mucho por tantas ordenes que comenzamos a hacer, nos dio tiempo no sólo para disfrutar de algunas jarras de la cerveza croata PAN, sino de hacer muchas fotos con el cartel del #BeerSaturday y de introducir a algunos usuarios, como a @dashpy, al increíble reto con más antigüedad dentro de nuestra blockchain. Un onboarding interno jaja.

Hubo conversaciones de todo un poco, pero también sobre cerveza y en particular del grifo de PAN que no paraban de servirnos durante la espera, creo que por eso llego un momento en el que el dueño del local, que tenía rato malhumorado por nuestra repentina llegada, decidió cerrar la caja y no pudimos pedir más bebidas, lo tomamos más bien como una gracia porque entendíamos que era tarde y que prácticamente asaltamos el local de la nada.

Otra cosa graciosa es como @ph1102 y yo nos hacemos fotos del #BeerSaturday súper activos y contentos, al menos las dos veces que he estado presente el estos eventos, siendo que a él no le gusta nada la cerveza jajajaja pero siempre está allí dándome apoyo y ayudándome a romper el hielo con la gente que no conozco. Es como el hermano mayor popular que le cae bien a todos jajajaja.

Although being honest, the #BeerSaturday photo I liked the most was the one @livinguktaiwan took on the night of the closing drinks, there was the little sign of the challenge floating around, like every day of course, and the moment she took the photo was the only one where I also coincided with @Detlev and the rest of the beautiful people in this photo.

I do know that @evelynchacin tried a hell of a lot more brands of beer than me during our stay in Croatia, but we had or opportunity to share a few, so we pulled off the challenge every day hahaha even breaking some rule or another. Or not, truth be told, we may never know haha.

I thought it was great to be able to choose a German beer to represent the challenge, because although we were in Split and the interesting thing was to discover its offer, this challenge was born in Germany for some reason, and finding beers with that origin in almost any corner of the planet, says it all. I don't know what @lizanomadaoul thinks of this particular choice, but being the Bavarian expert I think I should have consulted her at the time, but the game and hunger had her more concerned than the beers if I remember correctly.

Another beer experience in situ, I couldn't have been happier, I love bringing to real life these projects that unite us every week to so many users within the blockchain, it is a way to feel supported and understood, something as simple as socializing with such a common drink, opens the doors very easily to begin to know the opinions of ideas of others and motivate us to carry out more activities this way. Aunque siendo sincera, la foto del #BeerSaturday que más me gustó fue la que hizo @livinguktaiwan en la noche de las bebidas de cierre, estaba el cartelito del reto circulando por ahí, como cada día por supuesto, y el momento en el que ella hizo la foto fue el único en el que además coincidí con @Detlev y el resto de gente bonita que sale en esta foto.

Sé que @evelynchacin probó muchísimas más marcas de cerveza que yo durante nuestra estadía en Croacia, pero tuvimos o oportunidad de compartir algunas, así que sacamos adelante el reto cada día jajaja incluso incumpliendo alguna que otra norma. O no, la verdad, puede que nunca lo sepamos jaja.

Me pareció genial poder elegir una cerveza alemana para representar el reto, pues aunque estábamos en Split y lo interesante era descubrir su oferta, este reto ha nacido en Alemania por alguna razón, y encontrarte con cervezas fe ese origen en casi cualquier rincón del planeta, lo dice todo. No sé qué piense @lizanomadaoul de esta elección en particular, pero siendo la experta bávara creo que tenía que haberle consultado en el momento, pero el juego y el hambre la tenían más preocupada que las cervezas si no recuerdo mal.

Otra experiencia cervecera in situ, yo no podría haber estado más contenta, me encanta llevar a la vida real estos proyectos que nos unen cada semana a tantos usuarios dentro de la blockchain, es una forma de sentirnos apoyados y comprendidos, algo tan simple como socializar con una bebida tan común, nos abre las puertas muy fácilmente para comenzar a conocer las opiniones de ideas de los demás y motivarnos a llevar a cabo más actividades como esta.
