Hacía tiempo ya que no venía a proponer un encuentro de Hivians en España. La vida da muchas vueltas y ahora estoy viviendo bastante lejos del país, pero regresando un par de veces al año para reconectar con tantas cosas que me han brindado estas tierras en los ultimos 10 años.
Así que justo antes de cerrar las maletas y marcharme fuera nuevamente, propongo encontrarnos un rato a celebrar nuestro maravilloso ecosistema de nuevo y comentar un par de grandiosas noticias:

Así es, yo que me voy y ella que se viene a estas tierras. Es una gran alegría tener a un referente tan importante de Hive por aqui, estoy segura que disfrutará mucho conociendo a los maravillosos Hivians que hacen vida aquí. Espero que disfrutes conectando con todos nosotros y que te animes a seguir encontrándote con nosotros cuando sea posible.
A título personal yo me pongo en modo fangirl total. Ella fue mi ventana a Hive y su proyecto de las MasterClass de Hive desde Cero todo aquello que hicieron de mi, la blogger exitosa que hoy en día soy, o al menos así me siento yo jajaja. Me muero de ganas por conocerte y darte las gracias en persona, así que te esperámos con ansias el próximo viernes.

OMG OMG OMG! No se como comenzar a hablar de esto, nos traen el evento más importante del año a España y tenemos que hacer lo posible para estar presentes allí. Ideas, expectativas, dudas y todo lo que se nos ocurra hablar para exprimir este tema, porque definitivamente yo nocesito comentar esto y drenar el afluente de emociones que hay en mí. Por ahora, ¡vente al Hive Madrid Meet-Up de mayo!
Una excusa para encontrarnos y disfrutar del sentimiento de pertenencia que nos une. Así que hago nuevamente un llamado a todo el que quiera unirse, o acercarse a saludar, para desvirtualizarnos mientras compartimos unos snacks y nos tomamos algo.

Si estás en Madrid (España), en sus alrededores o si te da por hacer un viaje el próximo fin semana, a la ciudad capital, anímate a unirte a nuestro mini Meetup.

En el Parque de El Buen Retiro 🌳
El pulmón verde de Madrid, un magnífico recinto natural dentro de la misma ciudad que ofrece una enorme cantidada de espacios y actividades al aire libre. Un lugar en donde se mezclan culturas, edades y hobbies por doquier; el perfecto lugar para encontrarnos sin restricciones e ir rompiendo el hielo de un primer encuentro, facilmente.
La intención es disfrutar de un mediodía lento, sin presiones, sentados en la grama mientras hablamos de nuestros intereses y compartimos algunos snacks y bebidas. Esperamos que el tiempo esté de nuestra parte y que las lluvias que se están dando estos días, nos den tregua durante un rato, aunque si eso nos falla, no dudaremos en actualizar aquí mismo los detalles de algún plan B.
Así que en principio encontraremos en la entrada del Palacio de Cristal, un punto de referencia bastante fácil de avistar. Desafortunadamente su interior está en obras y no se puede visitar, pero aprovecharemos sus inmediaciones para hacernos un hueco en los jardines adyacentes y deleitarnos con las bonitas vistas al estanque durante al menos un par de horas.
Si te preocupa el poder encontrarnos ese día, no te enrrolles, ahí estaremos con alguna camiseta o totebag de Hive que te hará reconocernos facilmente. Y si necesitas contactarnos, dejamelo saber en los comentarios y te añado al grupo que tenemos para los Meetups en Madrid, el día de la quedada estaré revisando los comentarios de este post y los mensajes por Discord, telegram, etc..

Sí, sí. Se que está bastante lejos del centro de Madrid y que de entrada puede dar un poco de pereza llegar hasta allá, pero la razón de seleccionar esta segunda parada está más que justificada.

Si quieres unirte a la quedada un poco más tarde, esta será nuestra ubicación, en caso tal, dejame saberlo en los comentarios, para que podamos decirle con tiempo a nuestro Hivian anfitrion. De esta manera aseguramos que nos reserve una mesa con suficientes sillas en la coctelería ¡Que ese día es festivo! y seguramente todo estará bastante lleno.
En cuanto a los asistentes del picnic, el viaje en metro hasta allí es de aprox hora y media, podemos irnos todos juntos o también cogernos un uber entre todos que nos llevaría en 20 minutos. He mirado precios y rondan los 13€ para cuatro personas y 20 € para 6 en minivan; unos 3,50€ por cabeza. Lo comento solo como una opción más a considerar, que si no, nos vamos caminando, que se hace el recorrido en menos de 3h xD.

Como siempre, se que mis invitaciones normalmente están hechas con poco tiempo de antelación, pero no me parece excusa suficiente para dejar pasar una oportunidad más de celebrar el intercambio de experiencias entre Hivians y ponernos al día con lo que está pasando estos dáis dentro y fuera de la BlockChain.
También me tomaré la licencia de mencionar las cuentas de los usuarios en Madrid que hemos ido recolectando hace un tiempo en las quedadas. Además de algunos otros hivians, fuera de esta región, por si se animar a viajar hasta aquí y unirse al meet-up!

It’s been a while since I last suggested a Hivians meetup in Spain. Life takes many twists and turns, and now I’m living quite far from the country, but I come back a couple of times a year to reconnect with all the things this place has given me over the last 10 years.
So, just before I pack my bags and head out again, I’d like to suggest we get together for a bit to celebrate our wonderful community once more and share a couple of great pieces of news:

That’s right—I’m moving away, and she’s coming to these part of the world. It’s a great joy to have such an important figure from Hive here; I’m sure she’ll really enjoy meeting the wonderful Hivians who call this place home. I hope you enjoy connecting with all of us and that you’ll feel encouraged to keep joining us whenever possible.
On a personal note, I’m going full-on fangirl mode. She was my gateway to Hive, and her Hive MasterClass Zero project is what made me the successful blogger I am today—or at least that’s how I feel, haha. I can’t wait to meet you and thank you in person, so I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing you next Friday.

Ideas, expectations, concerns, and anything else we can think of—let's talk it all out to get the most out of this topic, because I definitely need to comment on it and let out all the emotions I'm feeling. It’s a great excuse to hang out and enjoy the sense of community that brings us together. So, I’m putting out another call to anyone who wants to join us—or just stop by to say hi—so we can meet in person while we share some snacks and have a drink.

Madrid’s green lung, a magnificent natural setting right in the heart of the city that offers a wealth of outdoor spaces and activities. A place where cultures, ages, and hobbies come together everywhere; the perfect spot to meet up without any restrictions and easily break the ice during a first meeting.
The idea is to enjoy a leisurely, pressure-free afternoon, sitting on the grass while we talk about our interests and share some snacks and drinks. We hope the weather is on our side and that the rain we’ve been having lately gives us a break for a while, though if that doesn’t work out, we won’t hesitate to post the details of a Plan B right here.
So, initially, we’ll meet at the entrance to the Palacio de Cristal, a landmark that’s pretty easy to spot. Unfortunately, the interior is under construction and can’t be visited, but we’ll take advantage of the surrounding area to find a spot in the adjacent gardens and enjoy the beautiful views of the pond for at least a couple of hours.
If you're worried about spotting us on the day, don't stress—we'll be there wearing a Hive T-shirt or carrying a Hive tote bag, so you'll recognize us right away. And if you need to get in touch, just let me know in the comments and I'll add you to our Madrid Meetups group. On the day of the meetup, I'll be checking the comments on this post as well as messages on Discord, Telegram, etc.

Yeah, yeah. I know it’s pretty far from downtown Madrid and that at first it might seem like a bit of a hassle to get there, but there’s a very good reason for choosing this second stop.

If you want to join the meetup a little later, this will be our location. In that case, let me know in the comments so we can let our Hivian host know ahead of time. That way, we can make sure he reserves a table with enough chairs at the cocktail bar—since it’s a holiday that day, and it’ll probably be pretty crowded.
As for those coming to the picnic, the subway ride there takes about an hour and a half. We can all go together, or we could split an Uber, which would get us there in 20 minutes. I checked the prices, and they’re around €13 for four people and €20 for six in a minivan—about €3.50 per person. I’m just mentioning this as another option to consider; otherwise, we can walk, since the route takes less than 3 hours xD.

As always, I know my invitations are usually sent out on short notice, but I don’t think that’s a good enough excuse to miss out on another chance to celebrate the exchange of experiences among Hivians and catch up on what’s happening these days both within and outside the blockchain.
I’ll also allow myself to mention the accounts of users in Madrid that we’ve been collecting for a while now at our meetups. Plus a few other Hivians from outside this region, in case they feel like traveling here to join the meetup!
