🐈⬛Over the last few weekends, and some weekdays too, we've been going to an area near the church where many kitties live. You can tell that other people also leave water and food for them and that they're quite healthy; it's comforting to know there are people in the area who care about them.
🐈Los últimos fines de semana y algunos días entre semana también, hemos estado yendo a una zona junto a la iglesia donde viven muchos gatitos. Se ve que otras personas también les dejan agua y comida y que ellos están bastante sanos; es bueno saber que hay gente en la zona que se preocupa por ellos.
🐈Aún así, se nota que son gatos que no están muy acostumbrados a los humanos. Las primeras veces que fuimos olieron la comida y estuvieron observándonos atentamente, pero cuando subí la pequeña loma hasta donde están sus refugios todos salieron corriendo espantados: era una total desconocida y ellos son precavidos.
🐈⬛But little by little, they are approaching with a bit more confidence. They no longer wait for me to serve all the food and leave; instead, they come a little closer and start eating while I'm still there.
🐈Pero poco a poco se van acercando con algo más de confianza. Ya no esperan a que sirva toda la comida y me vaya, sino que se acercan un poco y empiezan a comer mientras sigo allí.
🐈⬛Right now, this is how much dry food we have left for them. We're going back tomorrow because we want to leave them some small plastic containers with clean water, and that will be the last of the kibble. But we'll keep buying food for them whenever we buy for our own kitty.
🐈Ahora mismo esto es lo que nos queda de pienso para ellos. Mañana volveremos a ir porque queremos dejarles botecitos de plástico con agua limpia, y ya se acabará el pienso. Pero seguiremos comprando para ellos cuando compremos para nuestra gatita.
