Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I’m stopping by to share a new day in my life with you all. This time, I want to tell you about my day—because aside from teaching and music, there’s a love I haven’t shared here in a while: my pets. Lately, my kitties were running out of food, so we had to make the necessary trip to the market to get food for the little ones. Come along with me.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had either cats or dogs, and I really can’t imagine life without them. However, in recent years, I’ve adopted more and more, and now I have quite a few (hahaha). We can’t help it—there have been some very heartbreaking situations. That’s why, month after month, we have to find a way to buy their food. And with Venezuela being so unstable at times, it makes the task a little difficult. Still, they always have food. They really like this brand called Don Kat. It tastes good, satisfies their hunger, and seems to provide the nutrients it claims to. When a cat doesn’t like something, you have to listen—and I’ve had times when I’ve bought a different brand (because their usual one wasn’t available or something like that), and they end up rejecting it or just don’t like the food.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. En esta ocasión les quiero contar sobre mi día y es que aparte de la docencia y la música, hay un amor que tengo tiempo sin mostrar por aquí: mis mascotas. Por estos días ya se le estaba acabando la comida a mis gatitos, así que debíamos hacer el yan necesario viaje al mercado para conseguir el alimento de los niños. Acompáñenme.
Desde que tengo memoria siempre he tenido o gatos o perros y realmente no me veo sin ellos. Sin embargo, en los últimos años la adopción se incrementó y ahora tengo muchos (jajaja). No podemos evitarlo, han sido casos muy dolorosos. Razón por la cual, mes a mes debemos conseguir los medios para poder comprar la comida de ellos. Y siendo Venezuela a veces tan inestable, se dificulta un poco la labor. Sin embargo, siempre tienen su comida. A ellos les gusta bastante esta marca que se llama Don Kat. Resulta buena en cuanto a sabor, sacia el hambre y parece cumplir con los nutrientes que indica. Cuando a un gato no le gusta algo, hay que hacer caso y me ha pasado que he comprado de otra marca (porque bien no había la regular o algo por el estilo) y ellos termina despreciando o les cae mal el alimento.
That day, we went for a walk, taking in the scenery and enjoying our time together. In Plaza del Hierro in Alta Vista, a group of people had gathered for a dance therapy session to support the victims of the twin earthquakes in Venezuela. So, around five or six in the afternoon, they started dancing. We went to the market and picked up some cat food. It’s always a joy to buy food for them, and I think anyone who has pets will know that feeling. We got home early, and the cats were waiting for us. My cat, Kittie, looks a lot like the cat in the commercial. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by.
Para ese día nos fuimos caminando, aprovechando el camino y disfrutando el tiempo juntos. Por la Plaza del Hierro en Alta Vista, se encontraba un grupo de personas reunidas para hacer una bailoterapia en favor de las personas damnificadas tras el doble terremoto en Venezuela. Así que a eso de las cinco o seis de la tarde, comenzaron a bailar. Nosotros fuimos al mercado y conseguimos la gatarina. Siempre es una alegría poder comprar la comida de ellos y creo que cualquiera que tenga mascotas sabrá esa sensación. Llegamos a casa temprano y los gatos nos esperaban. Mi gata Kittie se parece mucho al gato de la publicidad. Ah y mi esposo hizo una rica comida. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
