Rushing back to find Ryuzo, I ended a suffering Mongol's life before discovering Ryuzo was taking damage by a heavy warrior. After a tough victory, enemy ships bombarded our vessel. We jumped into the sea to escape the flames, and traded dialogue on the shore about captured war plans.
I had to return to Ryuzo, so I rushed to the ship where we were separated last time. But it looked like he was not around, there were only the dead bodies we left together.
I found a Mongol clinging to death, and after ending his suffering, I heard Ryuzo calling Jin's name, mentioning all the food they have stolen from us. So I charged ahead, gripping the hilt of my katana tightly as I dashed down the narrow corridors toward his voice.
When I was on my way toward Ryuzo, I found a dead Mongol, and then upon opening a door, I found Ryuzo has fallen as he was fighting a heavy Mongol.
Now that I rushed to revive Ryuzo, the Mongol started attacking me with his heavy weapon, though I managed to revive Ryuzo in the meantime, dodging a massive shield slam just in time to pull my companion back to his feet.
The both of us started attacking the Mongol next as we had to defeat him to progress in the story. But even after throwing a smoke bomb, it was a hard fight for us, though we took him down eventually, breaking his thick guard with a series of heavy strikes.
After defeating the Mongol, Ryuzo said he would have had that Mongol if I hadn't shown up. And Jin replied with, he knows, in a sarcastic way. And when they were laughing on the fun fact, elite Mongols from another ship started shooting fire arrows on this one that had the food.
Ryuzo mentioned their food were being burned, but Jin stated the fact that they had to jump off the ship as the fire was spreading.
I thought Ryuzo would not jump and go for the food instead, but I had to take the lead, otherwise we might die, so I jumped off the ship, and Ryuzo followed.
After getting to the shore, Ryuzo said he promised his men he would feed them, and he is going back empty-handed now. So Jin said they'll find another way, and mentioned about the map he got from the ship, which could be a start, and the mission was completed after that.
Now that the mission was completed, I was left alone there with my horse, and I could see the burning ship along with the other ships on the ocean.
I decided to swim toward the ship and see if I could find any Mongols there, so I started swimming against the high current of the ocean, fighting the powerful waves as I pushed deeper into the open water.
But as I reached close to the ship, the game suggested me to return to shore before I drown and limited me with some seconds. And as I didn't return, I drowned and died.
