After executing wounded enemies along the path, I returned to the forge where Taka lit the fires. When a Mongol patrol attacked the area, I switched stances to defeat a brute, saved a peasant, shot an explosive arrow into incoming reinforcements, and eliminated a Mongol targeting defenseless civilians.
I noticed one of the Mongols I had just faced and stunned was clinging to life, so I went back to end his suffering in the most brutal way possible.
Then we kept running toward the forge, and I noticed another Mongol, the archer I fought last, was also clinging to life, so I stopped to end his suffering too.
At last, it was time to get to the forge, hoping there wouldn't be any more Mongols to stop us.
Taka was happy to see Yuna and me back. Jin suggested Taka light the forge, mentioning the Mongols wouldn't risk destroying the place.
Taka did as Jin asked and lit the forge, beginning to work on his expertise just as a Mongol patrol arrived after seeing the light. I realized a big battle was going to unfold next.
I was ready to face them. I went for their archer first, knowing he would be trouble for me if left alone, and then I kept attacking the rest of the Mongols, slashing them down one by one.
One of the Mongols, who was a brute, was going to attack a peasant, so I ran toward him. When I attacked him to save the peasant, he fought back aggressively, even though I switched my stance to the moon stance to break through his guard. I was happy that the peasant didn't die.
After taking down the brute, I killed more Mongols, and it looked like that was the last of them for now, only to see more coming. I shot an explosive arrow toward the incoming group to break their line.
While I was fighting those Mongols, a dog lunged to attack me, and I noticed one of the Mongols running directly toward the forge to attack the peasants. I ran toward him first, and before he could take down any peasants, I brought him down for good.
