Intense resistance met my first boarding attempt on the adjacent ship, forcing a quick retreat into the ocean before a secondary flanking run ended in a fatal ambush. An alternative approach via the anchor chain allowed for one stealth elimination, but an approaching guard quickly compromised the position.
Getting on board on the adjacent ship was not so welcoming, as there was a Vanguard. He started shooting me right after I climbed up, so I had to jump down into the ocean to survive, hitting the cold water hard to avoid the incoming hail of bullets.
Then I climbed up the ship again, understanding that enemy changed his position, and I started running to the back of the ship real fast. I stayed low to the deck plates to make sure I wouldn't draw any unnecessary attention from the upper platforms where the guards were active.
After getting to the back, I found the sniper of the ship, whom I decided to snipe with my sniper rifle, but he didn't go down with a single bullet, so I had to try again. And in the meantime, he called his comrades, shouting out my exact position to the entire security detail on board before I could cycle another round.
I knew I had to be quick, as soldiers of the whole ship were coming toward me, and on my way, I was taken down by an enemy.
At the restart, I used my sniper rifle from the shore, taking a good try and shot the enemies at the ship, but no one got damaged due to the extreme distance.
Though no one was damaged, but the enemies heard gunshots, so they started looking around while I was swimming toward the ship, keeping my head just above the surface of the rolling waves to avoid being spotted by the lookouts who were now highly alert.
This time I found an alternative way to get on board, and it was the anchor of the ship, where I started running on. After climbing up on the front deck of the ship, I took cover, seeing an enemy patrolling the bow area just a few paces ahead.
I went for that enemy, as it looked safe to take him down, and after taking him down, I had the body on my shoulder. As I noticed, someone was coming to the side, forcing me to quickly look for a place to hide while I draw my handgun to handle the threat if it required.
I was totally prepared for any mishaps, though I didn't think I would be noticed this early, but I had to start shooting the enemy using my handgun as he found me. I pulled the trigger rapidly, but his automatic rifle outmatched my small firearm, and he managed to take me down instead.
